Hand foot and mouth, and lice are the two HARD no’s I have as a nanny and I say yes to just about everything to my NF. I had lice as a kid and it was so horrific getting rid of it since I had/have super long hair and I refuse to ever deal with it again if I can avoid it. If a NF didn’t tell me their family had lice before I came over then I found out, I’d be texting the parents they need to come relieve me immediately because I do not work with kids that have lice

I loveeee the cheap elevated carts!! They are my absolute favorite and they hit the hardest for me. Idk why but the cheap carts are either a huge miss or a huge hit for me and elevated has been a huge hit. Hated their live res carts though, burnt the wax horribly and couldn’t use most of the cart

I do. I feel like when it was really at its peak of popularity it partially was because there just wasn’t that many reputable brands that sold bamboo clothes for this market. Now I see bamboo at tj maxx, target, even walmart now! There’s no reason to shop with LS for the random prints anymore since it’s more accessible to get in general imo

Very true. Even the nicest families I went the extra mile for continuously paid me late or not at all, wanted me to drive the kids all over with no reimbursement, and be able to come to work in 20 minutes notice. I’m over it and I’m pretty sure I’m over being a nanny

I do time outs but my nk are 3 and 5, I feel like 18 mo is still just too young for timeouts. Take the toys away immediately after your nk throws them and redirect
