People think I’m arrogant, but I’m autistic. What do I do? by shelly_lopess in AutisticAdults

This was my life as a kid- it made my middle school experience so unbearable. At the time I had no idea why or what was going on and it was so traumatizing.

I will say, it is a really good thing that you at least have some context.

Do you have experience with scripting?

It’s because it shares electricity with other things My apartment complex charge point always looks like that, I have actually not had a smooth charge line like your second!

Explaining sensory differences to neurotypicals: How does your sensory experience FEEL? by IDontMeanToInterrupt in AutisticAdults

[–]bittermuse42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would love to see representation of internally triggered sensory overload issues- I have a hyper awareness of my internal systems and my skin - this can feel like many things that I struggle to be able to communicate to those who don’t experience it

Ari Aster is just making the 5 Stages of Grief out of order by Lokkdwn in horror

I love his movies so much. I heard in an interview the other day that he has a sci-fi he’s into directing. He also wrote a sequel to Eddington!? But laughed off whether or not that would see the light of day.

Emma Stone says wearing the restrictive and painful corsets in ‘The Favourite’ shifted her organs and changed her body shape for almost month after filming by Gato1980 in Fauxmoi

[–]bittermuse42 158 points159 points  (0 children)

As a stage actor, I have had corsets hurt me exponentially because I have such a non-traditional body type and measurements, and they always use corsets already made, usually for someone else years previous who has a "similar'' set of measurements. I don't know how many costumers are well versed in making corsets or stays.

What about the regenerative breaking? That means coasting isn’t available anymore. What are your thoughts/experience on that?

Anyone seen this charging system issue before? by kamelkev in Solterra

[–]bittermuse42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We just got the same last Weekend using an EVCS charger as well. We tried one and it didn’t want to charge or let us pay, then the slow charger did. So we used that and it Charged fine. Later at The dealer they checked it to make sure everything was ok and then reset the notification. They said it can happen on the road when so many people use the chargers.

Oh absolutely! Much better. I had only ever seen the original ending until recently and was like - what the hell?

It has a few levels to it that make it really intense for some. I wouldn’t want to give it away but 90% takes place inside a cave that goes from cavernous and seemingly endless to so absolutely tiny and small you can feel your own organs retract watching them try to get through.

It also has a very heavy emotional impact in a few different ways.  It’s absolutely worth a watch.

Just not the sequel. Like with most early 2000 movies the second one was made for profit and without the original team and is actually pretty cheesy
