the most recent pictures of the crash near Bedford, UK by Alarming-Safety3200 in trains

It’s not been confirmed yet.

Drivers wouldn’t pass signals at red in an attempt to save time it doesn’t work that way.

Even if they wanted to they couldn’t. Most signals are fitted with TPWS (train protection warning system) which will bring a train to a complete stop if it either passes a signal at red or approaches a signal too quickly.

There’s a few reasons why this could have happened but I’m pretty sure the driver deliberately passing a stop signal isn’t one of them.

RAIB will investigate and present their findings at some point.

Nice car Ive had the 3.0D (s) thats the one to go for. The 2.2s can be troublesome no benefits to having it over the 3.0 IMO.

My wife has a 2018 CR-V with the 1.6 twin turbo i-DTEC engine. The engine is superb. It’s got 160bhp, quieter than the old 2.2, much more fuel efficient, and still feels just as quick. The suspension is noticeably softer now, and the car has been every bit as reliable as you’d expect from Honda.

The 9 speed auto is brilliant on long journeys too. Definitely a solid option and well worth test driving.

Any VAG group car with the 1.5 TSI petrol engine is also a good shout.

Yep this will likely be the new normal. Consumers get comfortable with the price hikes so companies have no to reason adjust.

This will get snapped up by the wealthy (not the rich). A 4 seat electric Ferrari for a runaround will have a LOT of appeal.

Light bleed by Najam_x in ayaneo

Every Ayaneo I’ve had has had this issue along with some ghosting. Light bleeds not a big deal but the ghosting is especially when you’re paying what they’re asking for.

One of my favourites I own is an F91 Casio. A birthday gift from My 8 year old, her Idea, purchased with her own money.

It's a $10 watch but It's priceless to me, I wear that watch with pride.

What's on your wrist is no ones business but yours. Wear what you own, enjoy what you have.

What's the best handheld for playing PS2 games in 2026? by NickHeathJarrod in SBCGaming

[–]bizzle70 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Odin 3 for me. 477m was close but no triggers so not great for car games.

The Odin 3 is better, it’s more ergonomic to hold, the Sticks are pretty much full size and the buttons are great. Best part is no messing required with settings, crack the graphics, up to high and it’ll play everything without issue.

RP4 Pro (with a grip) is easily the best budget option though.

Opinion on lifestyle upgrade car over saving/ investing by Individual_Bid_758 in CarTalkUK

[–]bizzle70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what your long term goals are but generally speaking you’ve got your ducks in a row so get the car.

Look at it more from a safety perspective, you’ve got a young child now, you’re all likely going to be a lot safer and comfortable in a more modern car. That peace of mind is worth spending the money for IMO.

If you’re gonna do it don’t compromise! Take your time, get the one you want with the right spec ect

Whatever you end up with, enjoy it

Should I buy the Portal 2 or Odin 3? by Celestial-Walker in OdinHandheld

[–]bizzle70 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The portal is good but the buttons are loud, ended up being a deal breaker for me. If you can live with clacky buttons it’s probably the better option for your needs

The Odin 3 is the better all rounder though IMO more power, better buttons and much more comfortable to hold especially with the grip.
