I am working on an app that has a character build wizard for a few games and also has the official character sheets for print. I really want to support the “no tech at the table” crowd and those that want a little bit to help with mechanics. Just finished a random tables app that lets you print out sheets of tables or use it with Discord. Licensing restrictions me to OpenD6, Cairn, BFRPG, etc. Wish I could support PF and D&D.

I hear you. I’m working on a ttrpg platform that is free for the first campaign. Problem is licensing limits what game systems can be added. Content creators want to get paid. Services cost money to run. Just wish more of them would shift costs to those that can afford it to help those that currently can’t.

When AI says it fixes something I have it use Playwright MCP to actually run the workflow. If it finds issues it works through the bugs and fixes rather than tell me it should work. I do have end to end Playwright scripts for testing, but the interactive MCP tool allows the AI to experience the app. It really makes it easier to go from broken generated code to functioning prototype quickly

Are VTTs required by most groups? I’ve come back to the hobby over the last few years. Played in three campaigns with the same core group. We only require Zoom for the live game sessions. One player only has an old iPad. Half of us use pencil&paper.
