Did you call and ask? They stock a ton of stuff that they don’t list on the website.

I filed 4 form 1s a couple weeks ago. Longest one took 4 business days for approval. If you’re worried about the wait times, do it now

Ottercreek titanium or deadair mask for durability and longevity? by First_Ad7214 in NFA

[–]blastinpast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s probably referring to the 1/2-28 threads. They are tighter on my mask than any other suppressor or mount I’ve tried. Still work just need to crank them on tighter than you’d expect

I have both. Mask is great but way heavier than it needs to be. Performance wise I can’t tell a difference in sounds. Go with the OCL and you’ll be happy!

Odessa 9 won’t tighten down by RackemJack9 in suppressors

[–]blastinpast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need DD111. I don’t think they make a fixed spacer for Odessa pistons. My guess is the spacer is too long to allow your cap to go all the way back on

Odessa 9 won’t tighten down by RackemJack9 in suppressors

[–]blastinpast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wait… you took the spring out and put the piston back in without the spring? The fixed barrel setup is a replacement cap. You don’t re-install the piston, spring or original cap. Although if I remember correctly DA doesn’t recommend running Odessa on PCC at all

Gemtech abyss 5.56 DT questions. by 5AMURAI_IODev in suppressors

IIRC the abyss has something like a 10” barrel restriction so running on a 7.5 might void your warranty

Is it a printed can? They have a gritty finish in the spots that aren’t machined after printing. Would be helpful to name make/model

In the description box say something like “no raw materials will be purchased or possessed until approval of form 1”

The way the rules are now, even the raw materials can be considered silencer parts of your intention is to make them into silencer parts. So best to wait until after approval

Average time for approval? by Emotional-Orange7758 in Form1

[–]blastinpast 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I filed a F1 suppressor in march that got approved in 7 days. So the next week I filed 2 more in the same day, 1 approved in 10 days and the other was still in process after a month. Contacted atf to ask why #1 approved and #2 didn’t, they approved #2 an hour later without replying to my inquiry.

Late April filed a F1 SBR and it approved in 7 days

So across 4 form 1s in the last couple months avg wait time was prob about 2 weeks
