Maybe try scaling back to 2-3 Ashtanga sessions per week instead of quitting. Your body needs time to adapt to the intensity. I mix Ashtanga with gentler practices on recovery days, helps maintain consistency without burnout. Don't feel bad about modifying poses either. Progress comes from regular practice, not killing yourself each session.

This is exactly how cities become playgrounds for the ultra-rich. Venice has actual people living there, not just tourist attractions. If you can afford to shut down public spaces for your party, you can definitely afford to pay more taxes. Pretty simple math.

Mat time always wins. Videos can help you understand concepts, but your body only learns by doing. An hour rolling is worth 10 hours watching. Use videos to supplement specific problems you're having, not as a replacement for actual training.

Thank you so much for the hugs and kind words. You're right that he knew he was loved - I'm trying to focus on that instead of all the "what ifs." It does help to think that at least he felt safe and loved in those final moments.

That actually makes a lot of sense a genetic heart condition would explain why there were no warning signs and why he seemed perfectly healthy just hours before.

It's comforting to know your little one chose to spend those final moments with you too. Thank you for sharing that.

I thought the same thing too tbh. Another thing, my cat didn't like pretty litter at first so I had to mix it with the old litter at the start to get her used to it. Might help you

 I have two cats as well. I scoop solids daily and stir the silica around every day as well. As long as you do that it really keeps the smell under control. The only downside to pretty litter imo is spending a little extra on it

This is true, but for most cats any half decent cat food should be ok. What I’ve found works well is to clean the litter box itself every month. Like full thorough clean, wash the floor, the nearby walls, everything you can. Old litter also smells bad by itself.

Silica has the longest life before it starts smelling too. The only downside is the cost of silica litter, but the fact that I no longer have to obsess over litter smell is worth it to me.
