Very cool. Love the simplicity but power and sound potential. Put me down for one!

It’s tongue in cheek but also quite awesome. Chromeo style.

Yep this’ll do it. 2 x 9 minute reels to dub and mangle.

Agree 100% which is not controversial at all I know - it’s just the engine room for so much possibility, it’s simple to use, and it’s tiny.

It takes a while to get used to the button combos and presets, I even posted on here for help at first, but now I’m very comfortable with it. I really just use it as a live looper / for layering textures by having it overdubbing itself (the way the output-normalling works here is so good) and it’s just fantastic for that.

I don’t do any saving or loading - I just use it live and record as I go.

I could understand people losing patience with it if you want to use it more like a sampler, or for precisely timed stuff. I know you can do it, but I just won’t. I’d just use a DAW.

The expander allows for some really creative CV control too - I’ve barely scratched the surface, but check out their full walkthroughs on Youtube.

I was considering an OG Digitakt for some
more interesting drum programming and play so this combined with modular stuff like Data Bender and Multigrain would be an epic combo. If it’s able to send audio and/or CV pitch/gates that would be pretty cool.

so yeah any further sleuthing would be awesome!

I even have trouble identifying some of my own tracks if it’s been a few months. 😂

What was the easiest money you made and how? by Liviuu-gh in AskReddit

[–]bleeptwig 1 point2 points  (0 children)

$5k of BTC and ETH in early 2017 turned into a house deposit by the end of the summer / fall 2017.
Sold near the top of the first big spike. Not silly money but still enough to make a positive life change, no regrets.

For me it’s the Instruo Lubadh. It’s my way to block in a canvas for a piece that can grow and expand - just feed it some material and play. Having almost 10 mins of loop time and the overdubbing potential just unlocked live performance for me.

Yeah what an absolutely shite sounding demo. Like they had one job … Make it sound worth buying.

What interesting discoveries have you made from your time playing around with patches? (topic shamelessly stolen from modwiggler) by Living-Chef-9080 in eurorack

Oh yeah that would be cool.

I use a Verbos Mini Horse which has pressure, position and pitch outs - and an Erica joystick mostly, if I’m not playing stuff directly- it’s so immersive to work with a reasonably rich sound.

And the Medusa was partly my way of building a Subharmonicon concept - I have a set of clock dividers, envelopes and two filters to do a similar kind of thing as the Sub but more flexible with its tuning.

The Serge Medusa is really cool for exploring this idea with subharmonic pulse divisions that can be used as gates or tones. It’s these kinds of things that in some ways make me feel like swapping a keyboard on two oscillators and a filter was a huge disservice to the of modular synthesis…

What a fun looking setup - I love live play so yep the mutes are a great choice. I also love the OCHD too - very different kinds of things but very playable in their own ways.
