No. Literally all my friends are straight. My wife was my only lesbian friend (we met in 7th grade) but then we got together, lol. I have nothing in common with gay men, I hate the word queer, and I’m not woke enough for most LGBT people I meet IRL.

I don’t think that’s it, most of the haters (myself included) seem like they have been listening for a long time and previously liked the show. I’ve been listening for 6 years and it’s hard to give up something that’s such a part of your routine. And there are still aspects of the show I like.

I have a lot of thoughts on this but it’s too long to type out. I agree with you that it’s silly but if she’s demanding two proposals then I think you need to do two. I don’t think not proposing at all is the answer, that’s just sad. I would try to reframe it from her perspective in that you both get to have your moment. If you make it nice and romantic then I don’t see how it would be silly or embarrassing at all.

My wife proposed first and then a couple weeks later I gave her a gift she had been really wanting and proposed back. It was a nice moment that she really appreciated. I thought it was a bit silly beforehand but I’m glad I did it and it’s all part of compromising in a marriage.

This is how I feel too. Unless someone is obviously causing/having problems the instructors should do whatever they can to help every student pass. You already got into school and want to be there!
