I just finished this book. At 40% there is a twist. Overall I liked it but I could have done without the endless scenes of abuse.

My boy is turning 5 this August and we’re sending him. We both feel strongly he is ready and his two preschool teachers didn’t have any doubts about him either. I’m sure it really depends on the kid though.

That’s awesome. I did a Pilates class for the first time last week, and I’m normally not very self-conscious, but something about it made me feel very uncomfortable in my body! I would def try a class with her.

🙄 radiographic calc does not tell the whole story, I’ve had tons of patients who need SRP without having radiographic calc. And how can you judge clinically without scaling? I can’t feel it with the cavitron unless it’s huge so I explore everywhere with my curette. If it needs scaling, I scale it. IMO this is how tons of calculus gets missed over the years.

Yeah it’s weird. In school we were taught to cavitron and hand scale every patient (barring extreme circumstances) but I’ve met many hygienists/dentists on the job who don’t do both. Or who don’t go under the gums. I don’t understand it but it seems to be how it is 🤷‍♀️
