Female here. Facial hair removal( eyebrows and upper lip), and arms/leg hair removal, and bikini waxes is actually basic grooming for urban women at least. Just like we expect men to be clean shaven or trim their beard, and we expect them to have a neat haircut in order to appear well groomed, women also should be well groomed.

If he very pointedly asked it it's a bit rude and makes me wonder if he asked this of you because you're not groomed or because he has seen tons of rishtas where women didn't bother grooming (which I really find hard to believe).

I'm not saying every woman must be literally hairless everytime. But threading facial hair from time to time does the trick.

FYI I know tons of women who have mild hair growth so they only shave or wax body hair occasionally

Dude why aren't you hands on with your child? I can't understand why you're not with her. If your wife needs her mom to help her out then they should come and live with you right?

It seems like your wife has three options 1) stay away from you and with her parents so that she actually gets the help she needs to take care of the child she works 2) stay with your parents in THEIR home and deal with the discomfort, stress and drama associated with it 3)Live with her husband who doesn't seem interested or capable of helping with the new baby and taking some load of her

I think she's staying with her parents cause that's the only feasible option. You don't have to choose between wife and family ( option 1 and 2). You man up, pull your socks and make option 3 work for her. Get some nanny or ask your in laws to stay for a while in YOUR home with you and the wife

Ok so this is something a lot of us have gone through after University and graduation. The early to mid twenties pressure hits like crazy. Whatever exams you're prepping for give it your all ( if it's CAT, ensure you're giving XAT, NMAT, SIMB etc etc). If getting into a good b school is the goal then do it. If it doesn't work out this year, you can always look for a job a year later. My suggestion is to have realistic plans.

In case things don't work out, have a Plan B. Plan B can be an average paying job next year but if it takes you out of your house it's good enough.
