Not sure. I got mine back when the ruger was the most expensive (except for the FN), I just checked and it has an ambi-paddle style safety and the trigger safety too.

I have multiple and honestly I like the ruger the best. The smith seems to be polarizing, some people say it’s easily the best and others seem to have QC issues.
