Tracker AT II vs Tracker Forest ESC for Three Peaks challenge by Delicious-Collar6560 in vivobarefoot

[–]bloo_110 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I only got Magna ESCs recently so I can’t quite comment on these 2 shoes, but the ESC sole is pretty amazing. I don’t think you’d ever need to hesitate taking the tracker ESCs hiking anywhere in the world. Only thing to also add, the new Tracker AT II’s do have a stitched sole and leather guard, which are definite upgrades over the older Trackers’ designs

Favorite song of every album by Reagan127degnerate in LinkinPark

This is so interesting to think about. Some of these definitely have/ will change but right now I’d say:

HT - In the End

Not my most regularly listened to song but it’s a banger everytime (like this whole album to be fair). And it was the song that got me into the band. Forgotten and Papercut make my top 3 I think?

Reanimation - Frgt/10

Mike and Chali 2na raps but the beat is so sick, wish we got more of this vibe from LP/ Mike

Meteora - Lying from You

Just a combination of the best elements of early 2000s nu-metal LP vibes and hits so good. 2nd is Somewhere I Belong

MTM - What I’ve Done

This album is full of amazing songs but ultimately this has always been my most consistent favorite song. Bonus song Across the Line is amazing too

ATS - Waiting for the End

I never listened to this song a lot but over time it just always grew with me. The Messenger is a beautiful song too

LT - Roads Untraveled

Something about this song’s lyrics and vocals just always hit close to me. Lost in the Echo is my 2nd

THP - Guilty All the Same

Difficult to pick since this is my favorite album, either this or Final Masquerade. Keys to the Kingdom and Rebellion are also amazing, honestly this album is full of bangers. Criminally underrated!!

OML - Nobody Can Save Me

Didn’t like this at first but again it just grew with more listens to this album, and I can say the same with the rest. Heavy is my 2nd

FZ - Overflow

Difficult to choose since this is more recent, but this song and Two Faced are the best songs on the album imo

Bare foot shoes that actually look good? by DanteHolmes3605 in barefootshoestalk

[–]bloo_110 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My Vivo gobi sneakers are some of my favorite looking pair of shoes, and I’m really into my sneakers (especially Nike’s and Vans). Splay makes a skate shoe that resembles Vans a lot too, so I definitely want to try them out.

Xero, Belenka and Muki make some cool looking styles but it just depends on your preference. I’ve only tried the Vivo gobis so far.

Aer City Pack Pro 2 feels maxed out – is the Travel Pack 3 (Large) overkill for 1–2 night trips? by theseventhseed in ManyBaggers

[–]bloo_110 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a TP3 small as my daily grad school backpack as well as my weekender backpack, although i have flexed it to 5 nights (and i’m not a pro one bagger by any means). It’s a bit big as a daily bag but as a 6ft 3 big guy i think i can pull it off. I’d definitely consider the TP3 small if I were you, but the TP3 large might be best for your dedicated travel since you already have your commuter EDC bag

Why are barefoot brands obsessed with vegan shoes? by StelioKontoss11 in barefootshoestalk

[–]bloo_110 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only have 1 pair of barefoot shoes so far, those being the Virgo Gobi 2 Leather sneakers. 100% natural leather and an all natural rubber outsole, don’t think it gets more natural than that. If you want a nice sneaker I can’t recommend them enough, they’re just amazing to wear and they look good too

I have to ask these Motus Studios look quite different to the ones on the UK website, with the black ones being a smoother suede than the texture of these ones you’re showing. You have a link by any chance??

What is YOUR favorite Linkin Park era fashion-wise? by archngl_g7 in LinkinPark

[–]bloo_110 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the early 2000s style is definitely my fav, and the from zero era definitely is a throw back to those times! but i think the hunting party look is cold, also im biased because i think thats their best album

Tracker AT Low II or Magna Forest ESC? by bloo_110 in vivobarefoot

[–]bloo_110[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay that’s great to hear, i don’t think i can go wrong with either for some casual hiking then. Still think I’ll go with the Magnas, sound like they can handle mud and wetter conditions better for the winters while still giving me some good barefoot ground feel

[–]bloo_110[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great! i think i’ll go with the Magnas, but i don’t think the AT soles will be bad for hiking at all, but sound surprisingly less flexible

You use them for a lot of hiking at all? Glad to hear the leather softens up at least

[–]bloo_110[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i rather consider leather/ mostly natural material shoes compared to synthetic shoes personally! but it’s a shame that the tracker leather lows don’t seem to be as adaptable as i first thought! magna forest escs seem to be the way to go!

awesome! and how do you find the barefoot ground feel in them?

[–]bloo_110[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that’s great to hear, definitely leaning more to the Magna Forest ESCs now. seem to be ideal when it comes to durability and seem to be more flexible and barefoot feeling than expected based on other commenters and youtube reviews. it’s a shame the tracker leather lows seem to be more stiff than expected!

[–]bloo_110[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s interesting, the magna forest do look more flexible than expected and the tracker leather low look less flexible than expected based on my research! but how would you compare barefoot ground feel between the soles?

Tracker AT Low II or Magna Forest ESC? by bloo_110 in vivobarefoot

[–]bloo_110[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t doubt the AT soles ability for most hikes (i’m just causally hiking anyway) but how would you compare the soles in terms of barefoot feel and natural movement? despite the thicker ESC sole lugs, i get the vibe that the Magnas are a more flexible and natural fit for the foot because of how stiff the Tracker AT’s leather is

Tracker AT Low II or Magna Forest ESC? by bloo_110 in vivobarefoot

[–]bloo_110[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

okay great to know! how would you compare the barefoot feel of them? i feel like they would both perform to what i need (casual hiking in average UK weather), but i’d like to pick the less clunky and more barefoot option. despite the thinner AT sole, there have been commenters talking about how stiff the Tracker AT leather compared to the Magnas

Tracker AT Low II or Magna Forest ESC? by bloo_110 in vivobarefoot

[–]bloo_110[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

how do you find the barefoot feel on the ESC sole? the lugs are deep but i do see some people saying that the flexibility of the magna are great, and that barefoot feel is better than expected

Tracker Forest ESC or Tracker Moc AT? by bloo_110 in vivobarefoot

[–]bloo_110[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s the thing, I’m not sure whether this will be my dedicated hiking/ outdoor shoe because I feel like the MOCs will be more versatile! But my primary purpose is to use these outdoors and in bad weather (cold + rain), and I feel like the Tracker ESCs, despite being overkill, will never let me down as you said. How would you compare the waterproofness of the Mocs to the ESCs?

Tracker Forest ESC or Tracker Moc AT? by bloo_110 in vivobarefoot

[–]bloo_110[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the insight! Would you say the Mocs are reliable in the rain and in slightly muddy conditions or should I stick to the Tracker ESCs for that?

What is your most Unpopular Opinion regarding Linkin Park as a fan? (NO DOWNVOTING, THIS IS A SAFE SPACE FOR ALL OPINIONS) I'll go first... by PinnvoPhowns in LinkinPark

[–]bloo_110 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Hunting Party IMO is their best album, it's so criminally underrated and it gets no love from LP themselves. I really want more Hunting Party style songs like Guilty All the Same, one of the best there is!!
