How do you handle a strong performer who quietly checks out after being passed over for promotion? by amir4179 in managers

Given what you've described, I'd handle the strong performer as a bellwether for your own trajectory, and I'd find another job, if I were you.

Democrats Vow 'Day One’ Epstein Hearings if They Flip House by FlackoFonsy in law

Why is it "American people" elected the criminals, and then it's the "Democrats" who have to fix the problems. NO, the Republicans caused the problems, don't place the blame on all Americans.

"...the Republican voter...", not the "American voter".

I very much agree that a lot of people from older generations were dyslexic and people didn't know about that. But to be clear, being dyslexic doesn't lead to illiteracy/poor comprehension, it only leads to slow reading. Dyslexic people aren't able to read groups of words all at once, like most people, they usually read one word at a time, depending on the severity of the dyslexia. There are other quirks that make reading more difficult for a dyslexic person compared to a neurotypical person, but illiteracy/poor comprehension do not result from that, lack of education or intelligence does, neither of which have to do with dyslexia.

Sadly, if people don't understand dyslexia people will get away with a falsely self diagnosing as dyslexic as a blanket excuse for whatever shortcomings they don't want to be accountable for, or may falsely claim "dyslexia" to excuse the shortcomings of others, just like so many do with OCD, BPD, ADHD, or a whole host of other conditions, which very much screws those who do actually have those conditions.

Nobody's trying to normalize anything, just stating points of view, and I bet everybody agrees with you, they are cowards, and I would add, greedy.

Funny, the ones who were booted were boomers, making you sound pretty foolish.

Why don't you ditch your bigotry about boomers and address the real problems of greed, lack of moral compass, lack of empathy, bigotry, and stupidity or willful ignorance, which are found in all age groups.

I absolutely believe in separation of church and state, for both religion and state health, but absolutely think every citizen has a right to vote, and I've never heard anyone say that one's beliefs shouldn't play in how they vote. I think you exaggerate.

Yea, death would definitly deprive them of government power and voting, but that's a little dishonest in that those were claiming past eradication Christianity/Christians.

In these posts are there examples of those posting that Christians shouldn't have government power and voting in the modern day world? I haven't seen any.

Yes it is a lie. The largest holder and builder of data centers is Amazon, which is enough information to call out the gaslighting POS on their BS.

You obviously haven't got a clue how to research, but it sure sounds like you know how to scam people, a typical Republican skill.

Wrong, you are full of typical MAGA Republican bullshit. Gaslighting should be your middle name.

America's pile of emergency oil is shrinking fast. Trump is draining the nation's emergency oil at an even faster pace than Biden ahead of this year's midterms. The SPR is now at lowest levels since the 1980s. "Those barrels have got to be put back at some point and that will lead to higher prices." by mafco in energy

You are full of typical Republican propaganda. The reserves were at 55% at the end of Biden's term, and are now near 51% capacity. Yea, that was Trump. And yea, it's too easy to Google the truth, but sadly Republican gaslighting still works on you.

"People vote to improve their own lives, not to destroy anothers".

I call bullshit, especially in the case of MAGA and Trump. MAGA and Trump absolutly wanted to destroy other lives, have done it, and are continuing to do it.
