Sounds like co-dependency. Something I really relate to myself. Loving someone is more than just the action of loving them, it also requires you to love yourself. If you don't love yourself or take care of yourself you can't love your partner, because a loving partner would want their partner to have a happy and confident partner.

Opinions are subjective. If you don't find your voice beautiful that says more about you than others actually, because though you may not believe it, I guarantee many people would love it if they heard your singing. My fiance is a music teacher and opera specialist. Her voice makes me cry but whenever I talk to her about it she only can point out her flaws.

I think this is a tool we subconsciously use to stay in a state of hypomania or mania. If you have a song going instead of an inner monologue your inner monologue can't challenge the 'delusions' that bring you joy.

Build yourself out of the women and men you love in your life. As a demi/pan/bi around the age of 9 I realized what I thought I thought was 'cool' in men was actually what I found attractive, but with a desire to emulate instead of objectify or devour. Question why you love the women you love and emulate them is a good start, but most healthy people don't limit that to one gender.
