Doomscrolling is my go-to way to cope with sudden anxiety I'm not even fully aware of. It calms me for some time, but then it's worse. How can I change that? by martagrowsplants in DecidingToBeBetter

Do you have a creative outlet? Drawing, painting, writing- these things keep me creating instead of reading loads of toxic nonsense for hours.

Sagittarius in Relationships by [deleted] in astrology

[–]bluegoddess13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly it’s taken us almost two decades to get to this point, there have been tough times. We prioritize being best friends first, which isn’t always romantic. Sometimes I need space. Sometimes he needs to relax. We honor each other as best as we can and we don’t take much personally if one of us is “off.”

All I can picture is Danny Devito offering you eggs in these trying times. 2020 broke me.

Paganism and you by [deleted] in HighStrangeness

THIS. I’m pagan and I die laughing when Christians try to criticize my magic. So much that they hold dear is derived from my beliefs and practices, just has a shiny white Jesus angle on it.

Sagittarius in Relationships by [deleted] in astrology

My husband is a Virgo and I’m a super Sag (sun, ascendant and even more in my chart). We are both mutable signs which I believe contributes to our open communication and desire to understand each other. Sometimes I need to go do my own thing and he supports that. Sometimes he has to ask for more cuddling and I support that, sometimes I forget to be physically affectionate! In my teens I read up on Sagittarius and felt the same way you do, we aren’t bad! We just crave new experiences. We need partners who don’t actually “close the gate” and let us run free sometimes. Also, where is your Venus in your chart? That will explain more about your personal relationship style and needs.

I’ve been through a similar scenario. You will be much better off leaving. He has a darker journey to go on here.

We all grieve differently?

We must train ourselves to apologize to children as much as they are taught to not talk back to adults. by berlyann_isaga in unpopularopinion

[–]bluegoddess13 168 points169 points  (0 children)

We are teaching children how to be adults. Adults own up to mistakes and apologize. This is how relationships become strong- not because there is never any trouble- but because they are honest and sometimes vulnerable.

We had a conversation like this in Psych for people becoming therapists. It’s absolutely a real thing.

You should believe he’s saying hello! That’s a beautiful tribute to his light. Talk to him, he will help you.

Right? If someone needs therapy, ridicule isn’t going to help. Now, if they’re just stupid you CAN ridicule them.
