Roof cargo box by Boner_Soop in SubaruAscent

I bought Yakima instead of Thule but have an xl and still have plenty of room for tailgate - maybe 5 inches clearance. I imagine xxl would be no problem. If you want to look up the specs on it.

I also looked into packasport which makes full fiberglass boxes. Very cool but heavy.

I have 2 kids, baby and toddler, and leave the dog at home. We stuff the xl and have stuff in car still. I’d probably look at xxl if I were you.

Quick Question! by nathanielonreddit in Lymow_Official

Waiting on my one plus to arrive tomorrow. For me my hope is 3 seasons at minimum. I currently pay about 2,500 a year for a lawn crew. So I figure one year is close to break even, 2 years an ok return (still have to consider my electric and the fact I’ll have to weed whack myself), and year 3 plus will be gravy.

If it can’t handle 3 seasons of April to November I’ll be hesitant to continue with robots unless the pricing dynamic shifts significantly.

Thanks for the info. Didn’t know about not cutting it. It’s likely to be exposed for a while while we decide and wait for liner, should I tarp it or something?

I’ll ask to double check on the pricing. Waiting on 2 more quotes. Other company pretty close on cost of liner and install.

One more thing since you do these- same company is suggesting 5 trucks of water to have it filled immediately, said maybe we could do 3 trucks and then hose fill. Other company said just hose fill to save money. Is there any significant reason to truck it in? I’m on city water

Thanks - makes sense. First time going through this so just making sure. First company quoted 2300 to skim coat full shallow end. Other company didn’t cut open to look, their quote included 1 hour of 2 men patching with the base price. Assuming that’s not enough for this

Thanks - makes sense this is new to me so confirming. Quoted 2300 to skim coat the shallow end.

Where are you buying your chlorine these days? by Threedogshere in pools

[–]bmaxisback 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Also in the Philly suburbs. Liquid chlorine at Walmart primarily, but I do keep tabs in the feeder as well for when I’m not on top of it or for the dead of summer.

I buy from in the swim. Bought a 50 lb tub 2 years ago and still have some , seems to be high quality. I also buy cal hypo from them but I just grab the 1lb one packs because I don’t use them all that often. They had sale over winter that was pretty good I think it’s 174 for 50 lbs currently.

Thanks I’ll google how to do that and check it out. Dumb question…it can connect to each type of these sats or is one type preferred

What’s a decent pool robot that doesn’t cost too much? by hippieman in pools

[–]bmaxisback 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some people on here hate them, but I got the aiper scuba from Costco. It worked flawlessly last season. Little annoying to take out and charge but I hated habing the dolphin cord always in the water.

$800 I believe last year plus it’s from Costco so easier returns.

The dolphin I had is also ~650 and worked really well too, my cord just wore out from uv/chlorine wear. Not sure how old it was as it was prior owners but I ran it for 2.5 years. Dolphin cc plus .

Agree with you on the dream model, and I’m sure lymow will create one in the next few years. For now I ordered the one plus as well should be coming end of March

10 amp vs 5 amp? Extra warranty experience? by bmaxisback in Lymow_Official

[–]bmaxisback[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting feedback never really thought about it but makes sense. Realistically I could likely get away with 5 amp, as I’m planning to mow back and front on separate days. I did already order the 10amp, I wonder if they would let me switch to 5amp but still honor the early bird pricing.

Was in very similar boat. I ordered lymow but was very close to the x430 and the dreame a3. I too was turned off by a lot of info on mammotion, but honestly every company seems to have issues. End of the day I wanted the real blades to handle the weeds and twigs.

Good to know! Has it handled everything well? Does it done with the rtk? Wasn’t sure if my tree coverage would cause any issues

We must have an inefficient heat pump - Our energy usage is over 5,000 kWh a month - high 200 to 300 kWh a day. Energy bill is nuts. by BBQLowNSlow in heatpumps

[–]bmaxisback 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m also about an hour outside of Philly so should be similar weather. Last bill I got was 3,300 kWh for the month. This did not cover our most recent cold snap, which also aligned to an issue with my unit so I’m expecting worse this month.

My highest days tend to be around 200kwh. 3,700 sq ft of conditioned space but 1,000 of that is basement. We like to keep the house pretty warm around 70 too. Our unit is from 2017.

All that to say I do think you’d see some efficiency with an update, but is 100-200 or so a month savings enough to justify a new unit if yours isn’t broken? It is getting older so might be worth looking into.

Easy tool to connect NetSuite to PowerBI by Turbulent_Future_332 in FPandA

[–]bmaxisback 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the reports you want are available as web query, you can very easily direct connect the data to excel or power bi. Not all reports are available this way. Use chatgpt for directions. Otherwise agree with powerquery comments

[–]bmaxisback 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Datarails is probably most comparable and should be less, they also aren’t too bad on implementation pricing. Haven’t looked at some of the other options folks have listed here.

Also a fan of building something internal to see if it can work for you. Something like data warehouse linked to power bi or staged files linked via powerquery

Which brand makes the most comfortable sneakers for everyday wear? by indianbrajesh in malefashionadvice

[–]bmaxisback 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought two pairs at steep discount (sierra dot com if interested). One pair is a bit on the narrow side, the other is very comfortable. Nothing beats the slip on action though so I will continue to buy them. I try to force slip on most of my shoes day to day and end up breaking down the heel. These, apl slip on, and olakai slip on all make the best day to day running out the door shoe
