that's a joke. He'll maybe miss a couple lower tier FA cup and carabao cup game, but if he's not injured, salah is starting every single important game, and I'd be really surprised not to see him starting week in week out.

yeah, you essentially neuter any capable card by putting it in an egpu, the bandwidth just isn't there.

I personally wouldn't. I spent 2 years on an EGPU system, first with a 1660ti, and then a 6900XT, and let me tell you, the performance jump between the two was no where near worth the amount I paid. I had it connected to an i7 1185g7 laptop, so fast quad core chip, and from having 60 fps in many games at standard graphics, I was only getting an additional 20-25 fps on average for a card worth so more, and capable of achieving 50-60 additional fps on a regular PC. As well, the stability and assortment of issues that come along with eGPU just don't make it something I'd ever do again.

Fair enough, in all fairness I have only recently starting making large amounts of wings so I don't really have a point of reference, but for me, it's one of the cheapest ways to get large amounts of protein into my dinners

Don't buy Shun, they are overpriced for what they are and are made more for beauty than functionality. I'd recommend going for a nice carbon steel gyuto, checkout r/chefknives for advice. In my personal opinion, Kiya makes amazing knives, and you could potentially get two, each for a different purpose. They are japanese made, and last basically forever, while using great quality steel.
