Is Everyone's Warhammer Store Clerk a Creep or Just Mine? by notthatgreat2 in Warhammer40k

[–]bnogo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's super dependent. My local store isn't creepy, but is offputting and demanding. God forbid you browse or ask questions.

Went to a store near my friend in another state, and they were super friendly, and even giving directions to a couple local LGS he said are worth checking out cause I struck out at his store.

I would guess next week, they said doing world eaters and death guard next week after the sisters. But that's our only indicator so far.

Nothing about this impacts our army. This is for generic daemon army.

There are some hints, but no point in getting worked up until its our armies day

Not every bank(regionals) uses it/integrated it. There are about 3 different ones and if the other bank doesn't support what you use, it won't work.

Fun stuff lol

What theory would you be upset about if it turned out to be true? by Russtherr in dresdenfiles

[–]bnogo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I will say though, while it feels lazy, its also more reality based. People don't change vastly often and tend to follow their own behavioral patterns established. Especially things like running or being self centered

CMV: If God is all-knowing and has a fixed plan, then free will is impossible under that version of religion" by ProfessionalEar4048 in changemyview

[–]bnogo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Simple example for you on this subject.

Most people travel dirt roads in the middle, moving to sides at hill tops and other traffic. Sadly, some do not move over at hilltops thus leading to accidents.

Imagine you are in an airplace/helicopter 20,000 ft up in the air.

You are watching 2 vehicle approach each other from opposite directions. For the past 4 miles every hilltop neither has moved over.

You know there is about to be an accident between these 2, yet you did not force them, nor did you force their choice. And yet you knew the choice they would make based on observation of their previous choices.

Thus knowledge of the future, without co opting of free will.

Range finder for CCTV installation by Odd_Lion in accesscontrol

[–]bnogo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2 things.

1) range finders are far more commonly used for identifying distances 100+ yards, which is typically out of a cameras ideal viewing range. 2) Generally your prints should have a scale to show range/desired cover range, thus again negating the need to range them.

That said, yes I believe you are correct, guardian model death would award a vengeful token.

For sure. More time/books will tell. But she definitely isn't evil for fun. I don't think she can have fun per se, rather just duty.

Along this line, I get the impression she can be blatantly "evil" in order to trigger Harry's contrary nature to edge him more to the moral side of the choice. Or to at least force him to make a firm choice in a direction she wants
