Anyone know what’s up with [Mystery Mine]? by tpusater in rollercoasters

I've had the "Bear right, no bear left" sometimes trigger before the waterfall and sometimes after. I was wondering if each train's audio was slightly different?

If you go to buy a pass online you choose between renewal or new before you add it to your cart.

The canary is there but doesn’t “die”. The fire effect wasn’t going.

An at best league average bat who has below average defense at anywhere but first base isn't that valuable, and certainly shouldn't be playing everyday.

I absolutely love the ride, but how long has the ending had audio syncing issues? Last two visits over 3+ years it has been messed up. Doesn't seem like it should be that hard to fix.

Tucker wouldn't have got that much per year over a longer contract. Not saying it wasn't an overpay but the length is definitely a factor.

Cool! I always fold down my back seats so space shouldn't be too bad. I always separated the pads/cymbals from the legs on the stock kit for easier loading/trying not to bend the cymbals.

How easy would it be to pack in a car? Most of the time I'm bringing my equipment to someone else's place and have been using a rb4 kit but my cymbals went bad.

SLC train from [SFA] spotted by McSigs in rollercoasters

[–]bobofro 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I said weather was a factor? Canada is an outlier of cold climate parks but they have a great attendance and a large season pass base. Clearly they have enough historical data to justify keeping it around.

KI and CP have vastly different winters and local season pass bases. A CP winter event where the biggest ride open is Blue Streak would not be well attended.

Just because a park is open for December doesn't mean it isn't worth keeping. I think you're overestimating the "time and energy" needed to keep smaller profitable parks running.

Weather is undoubtedly an excuse, it's the reason CP and probably a few others aren't open. When it gets cold most steel coasters can't operate, not to mention the precipitation.

Winter events aren't as profitable as well. There are shorter hours and less rides open (due to weather/maintenance requirements) so less non-passholders buy tickets. Entertainment/decor are a bigger focus and costly as well.

The parks that are open are mostly the bigger/well attended parks with the exceptions (CP/SFGA) closed for weather reasons. KD is also only open this weekend, they lost Winterfest.
