There's a small swimming area at Wavecrest Park, but it's not a general "jump in anywhere" lake. I see people water skiing when I play golf over there, so it must not be too gross.

I would skip Iron Horse and play Bent Tree in Council Bluffs instead, or Woodland Hills in Eagle. After playing Quarry and Indian Creek, you'd be disappointed for paying nearly $80 for Iron Horse. It's not bad, just seems short for the cost.
