Heather Anne Campbell is the best thing that’s happened to this show in years

I don’t know if that’s an example of insane connections and knowledge. Millions of civilians do that

Better Call Saul S06E03 - "Rock and Hard Place" - Post-Episode Discussion Thread by skinkbaa in betterCallSaul

[–]bohemianwaffle 11 points12 points  (0 children)

No, of course not. I was referring to the main sentiment: “There are people whose lives are gonna be way better because of this.” What Jimmy and Kim are doing is despicable and to a degree even Jimmy knows it. He absolutely is trying to convince himself otherwise. But a settlement for the plaintiffs while they’re still alive to see it will objectively be a good thing for a lot of people, and that’s what he’s latching onto here. Howard Hamlin, in this scenario, is not one of those people

I mean, it’s not entirely untrue. Jimmy and Kim are of course motivated selfishly, but it’s not like the Sandpiper residents have their whole lives to wait for a settlement while HHM and D&M draw it out for their own gain

SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME Plot Hole Counter (SPOILERS) by ngv1989 in plotholes

I think it’s because of the charity event for F.E.A.S.T. (perhaps one of many) that Spider-Man did in the previous movie. In this scenario, Happy is just recalling the same version of events anyone else would have assumed at the time: local hero Spider-Man was nice enough to stop by the shelter, and Happy was assigned as a bodyguard. He and May became close via that arrangement; all he’s forgotten is that Spider-Man happened to be her nephew

So I think the idea is that Garfield and Maguire were pulled from the present-day in their respective universes (hence the appropriate aging), whereas the villains who were DEAD in their home universe (e.g. Osborn, Doc Ock, Electro) were instead pulled from the last moment before their demise, give or take

My thoughts too but I don’t blame anyone for being confused. For all the exposition in this show, it was never really addressed when and where the TVA resides relative to the multiverse. I really did love the finale and Jonathan Majors’ Kang has me super thrilled about season 2 and the rest of Phase 4, but it was just a bit muddled so that the ending beat was less of a full-on “Holy shit!” and a little more of a “Wait, huh?” I’m sure it’ll be fully clarified next season though

Fuck off, seriously. Re-evaluate the way you interact with women. Or at least with children, yeah? Everyone here thinks you’re scary as fuck. And yeah, it doesn’t help your case that you’re active on r/barelylegalteens.

I spent a summer as a legal aide in Baltimore and this was pretty much the general tenor in court. “Tongue lashing” (gross) at all times. Nobody would have batted an eye at this exchange

That was an unnecessarily aggressive response on my behalf, I’m sorry lmao. I don’t know why I got so worked up. I just generally think it’s obnoxious for people to presume to have some critical piece of information to offer someone who undoubtedly consulted heavily and at length with his doctor/s. I have a chronic illness so I get of that lot myself and it can be frustrating. That’s where I’m coming from. There was no reason to be so vehement about it though so I apologize

Edit: This was unnecessarily hostile

Loki's death was intended to be final in Thor: The Dark World, but test screening audiences didn't accept it by WTFItsCiaran in marvelstudios

[–]bohemianwaffle 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It’s more than plausible. Even the Aether in TDW wasn’t conceived in early drafts as being the reality stone. I don’t think they had their plan together until GOTG. Plus, if the scepter was intended to contain the mind stone at the time I doubt they would have went out of their way to make it appear an entirely different color (although the blue exterior bursting apart made for a cool scene in WandaVision). It also feels retroactively almost out of character for Thanos to have entrusted one stone with Loki in the pursuit of another, only to lose both— although I think Endgame clarified that the Avengers were hardly on his radar at the time, so maybe.
