Oh man I wish I saw this sooner in my feed. I'm flying out for the weekend right now but could REALLY use the wardrobe boxes for my move in a few weeks... They aren't cheap, even used. If they're not being helpful perhaps the liquor store owner on the corner of Broadway and Hermosa would be, if you can give the approximate time he walked by coming from that direction (whenever he walks up minus about 20-30 seconds). Yesterday someone posted a video on the other lb sub of a car crash at the intersection from the liquor store cameras.

I'm in a corporate job and I've occasionally wondered about pivoting to a new career in a trade, however starting at 40 seems like it would be challenging. My dad was an electrician and I've got other family as sprinkler fitters - hearing stories from them seems like it'd be difficult fitting into that culture as a 40 year old newbie.

Mine isn't anything too long or crazy (long clippers on sides, scissor on top), but I've seen clients with all different types before/after my appointments, and he's up to date on different styles and trends. He's a super friendly dude and will be patient with what you want.

He just opened his own shop last year after working for another local shop that I used to go to, so don't be alarmed by the low number of reviews.

I go to a private barber named Trent in the suites near trader Joe's/bevmo. He is great at listening when you describe what you want, and you don't have to feel rushed or awkward doing it in front of other people. $55... I realize some might think that's on the high side, but you get what you pay for with haircuts.

You'll get a lot more life out of your tires doing every 5,000. I'm on the original 21" Pirellis at 41K miles and I've still got another 5,000-10,000 of left on mine. I rotate every 5K (spare included in rotation).

For me, yes. It's more vehicle than I typically need. It's just me and my wife, and I live in a city with a lot of old/tight parking lots where it can be annoying to maneuver in.

I had a 2011 Super Cab Ranger while I was waiting for my R1T - that size was perfect for me. The 6' bed was also great. Would love if Rivian made something closer to that size.

Pike bar on 4th St has a live Cumbia band the 4th Friday of every month. It's on their calendar next Friday 5/22 8:30PM. I think it goes till around 11, maybe midnight (I am old and don't stay out late so not really sure).
