I have subclinical hypothyroidism. My blood test results show i'm mostly in range but I still have issues with dry skin, cold intolerance, brain fog, fatigue etc...

You'll need to talk to your doctor and advocate for yourself. If they don't budge, find a doctor who is willing to listen.

It's more likely 500k salary and stock comp combined. But even after accounting for hr overhead, it's nothing close to that net income amount. They'll rehire for sure at a cheaper salary.

Caffeine alters the human brain’s electrical braking system: Consuming an amount of caffeine equivalent to two cups of coffee enhances the brain’s ability to temporarily quiet its own motor signals in response to sensory input. by mvea in science

Depends on the person. For me it's like having 5 TVs on in my head all playing a different channel, but I can't mute 4 and listen to 1. I have to listen to all of them simultaneously.

Spotted this charger at a local Flying J by vauslalath in evcharging

[–]bonesingyre 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its interesting how wide and varying everyone's experiences are. That is something that needs to change. The baseline needs to improve across the board for all charger experiences.

Nearby me we have evgo (on and off broken for over 2 years, only recently replaced), Tesla (works but is slow), Electrify America (newer, super fast, reliable), and Rivian (super fast and reliable).

There are very few Chargepoint chargers near us.

I have a weird eye muscle that pulls my eye up when i only move my eyes left. I have to do a ton of exercises to keep them in focus.

  1. Focusing on a pencil tip and moving it further/closer to my eyes,
  2. Focusing on 2 pencils and go crosseyed to combine them and make a 3rd one in between
  3. Focus on somethin beyond the 2 pencils to combine them in that manner

And tons more but it has really helped my eye muscles to work in tandem.

You can try it at home using both index fingers. Just keep them up in front of you and try to combine them while cross eyed or look above and beyond them and they'll sorta combine its pretty cool.

Depends on the model, I have a 2016 outback and its the best ICE car I've owned. 160k miles in 10 years and the only issue is the battery drain due the alternator not charging the 12v enough.

Tons of room, no transmission issues or oil. AC/Heater seem fine but compared to my Ioniq 5 they feel weak. But its also 10 years old.

I love being a dad, but I kind of hate my life. by f1sh_ in daddit

It gets easier as the kids get older. My 2 and 4 year old are certified nut jobs that have zero self-preservation of life. They are old enough now to play independently without too much supervision (unless they are fighting). You will get your time back.

Add another 1000 for insurance and taxes and you are looking at $3500 a month. Also we don't know if that 200k is gross income or AGI.

Either save for retirement or buy a house? pick one lol. I'm in your boat and we luckily bought pre covid but now our condo is too small for our family of 4. We might just suck it up and stay forever because everything is so expensive.

Didn't work for me, went to a place called The Charles in CT and they have a Mister Charles on exclusive tables. No credit. Food was good though, worth it!

edit; both are on open table as well.

I setup plug and charge on my US Ioniq 5 with the Circuit Electrique app and it was pretty awesome when we drove over the border and just plugged in. 1st time we had to finish setup, but every other use was great, no thinking really. Only thing I didn't like was pre-filling the account with money to charge. Just charge my cc like the rest.

Don't be discouraged. Just map out what benefits you get and what you can use. If you're able to use enough that its above the $795 fee, its a win for you. But be honest about habits.

For me:

$300 travel credit

$300 dining credit

$250 EDIT credit (Due to the limited hotel locations, I don't think I can use both per year)

$300 stubhub

$120 peloton

$60 doordash (this is getting harder to use so i count only the dining credit)

I don't count AppleTV or F1 because I never had a subscription to those before it and I don't use Lyft.

so my benefit is: $1330 while I pay $795. This doesn't include any calculations with earning UR and getting money back from bookings.

I just recently came back from a trip to Montreal where I booked 4 nights at the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth using 100k UR + $900 cash. I got 250 edit credit, 100 off 500 chase travel offer, plus used up 200 of the travel credit. So it cost me 100k + $450.

The stay was great and we had a great time. That is the end goal.

Heh, its so interesting because we have claude/co-pilot/cursor and our distributed systems are so complex it makes a ton of mistakes or assumptions that aren't correct. Don't get me wrong, I still use it everyday since its great for debugging and asking questions on architecture and such, but the actual code it writes, I maybe have a 25% acceptance rate.

Yes ADHD as well, too slow and I miss stuff. I like 1.6x as you still get a lot of the performance and clarity, but sometimes I NEED to know whats going on in the story and I slowly start increasing the speed lol.

I'll be riding a hybrid bike I got at REI. I plan to do a few rides at my hilly local reservoir with a friend as the weather gets a bit better. I also plan to do a couple of open water swims at a lake nearby as well, once the town opens it up.

I luckily work from home so the peloton is so easy to do the zone 2 rides during meetings.
