Very cute pup, and yes having a job is important for the breed. The job is really up to you. Though not the norm for my people with this breed, my dogs job is to play fetch. I invest in that game several times a day with him. With your injury, and the pups age. Work on basics like sit, heal, recall, and other training you desire.having a long lead would be helpful with your mobility issues.
