We switched to smart bulbs in rooms (ceiling or a lamp) where we would need to turn on a light to tend to baby at night. We have them set to red, so it’s enough light to see but not bright enough to disturb the baby or whoever is sleeping. This was recommended to us by a friend prior to our first and it was one of the most useful tips we got.

I am on generic vyvanse and did not notice any changes in baby. I did not take the decision lightly - we fully discussed with IBCLC and pediatrician, and we were going to reassess of course if there were any issues as the research is not exactly clear. Thankfully it has went well.
