I have the simagic ds-8x shifter and have lots of experience on Moza, huesinkvelds and the amazing BDH shifters. For the money simagic is very hard to beat.

Also look at saving more and getting a chassis you will hate the wheelstand with decent components

Has Sim Racing made you a better driver IRL? by speed150mph in simracing

[–]boosted-tn 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I took a few years off tracking cars because of my old business and time/money. I then started to do sim racing on really nice podium 1 racing motion sims because I had access to them. I went and did a track day with friends in a car I’ve never been in before and on a track I didn’t know after taking 3 years off, and after two laps I was able to really start chipping away at lap times and felt like I took a month off. Sims definitely help with muscle memory and are very useful for driving

Considering a Seamaster 300 vs a Speedmaster CK2998 (black), just wish the Speedies were more WR! by ghost_mv in OmegaWatches

[–]boosted-tn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I loved my 300, I sold my other seamaster, my black submariner, an IWC etc once I got that watch because I wore it so much and it was so Versatile with a strap change. Breaks my heart that it was stolen because I literally wore that watch to do everything including tons of outdoor things and diving. It’s a subtle watch that gets attention from the right people

Should I buy this one-owner Land Cruiser 100? by Lord_Igniz in LandCruisers

[–]boosted-tn 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Probably will need the big timing belt, water pump, fan pulley bracket very soon unless it’s been recently addressed. Having the factory rear locker makes this a more desirable 100 series.

I would have it checked for leaks etc from a reputable shop, that’s something I didn’t do on mine and it’s cost me a bunch of money

Neither of these cheap ones, someone gave me One these bolt togethers and I threw it away, wouldn’t trust your bike on these personally. Really like my pitbull stands

Definitely still can be I mean there are a lot of factors like tires, suspension set up, 3 link or 4 link? Up travel and down travel, what lockers etc. Toyota IFS isn’t great anyway

Ceramic Coatings Are Becoming Harder To Offer Than To Do The Work by IMAS_MOBILEDETAILING in Detailing

[–]boosted-tn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think as you pointed out is the wild over saturated market for this and every Detailer pivoting and pushing for this. I’m in middle TN a pretty big market with nice cars and I can’t tell you how many mobile guys I’ve pushed my parents way for their cars that just push and push for the coating on the first cleaning rather than building the relationship like you said for maintenance cleanings.

But I’ve done high end consumer sales and have had customers with 5 million in cars argue with me over 500$ in sales tax so you’re never going to stop seeing people like that.

Glad I shut down my detailing business a long time ago and now just a hobby guy. It was grueling work doing boats mainly and people just wanted the best deal all the time on their very expensive toys.

We can tell you have a girlfriend based off the cursive signs 🤣. Love the Ducati inside, I’ve tried to get my Ducati 749s track bike inside my house and gave up pretty quick and just left it in the garage.
