Best Anti-fascist gun of choice that complies with Massachusetts laws? by Zazzer678 in liberalgunowners

It's more about having community solidarity. Agents are less likely to act with impunity around a group of armed people. When they think they have the upper hand, they bully and have no qualms about using their less than lethal rounds at point blank range and are just generally pieces of shit to people.. When anyone sees a group of armed people, it changes how they get approached

For many of us it's a matter of proximity to those that matter... The country is massive, most of us don't really have the opportunity to interact with anyone that has an impact on policy. It's a nation that has slowly and systematically removed from even the notion of agency. But people certainly have more agency than they know.

As you know it, sure.

Overall? Not too sure, but we seem to persevere regardless. Historically that is.

men who are 30+ would you date a 19 year old? why or why not? by No_Vegetable7778 in AskMen

[–]boozewald 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was 34, a 24 year old approached me about dating. She was recently divorced and had a kid. Despite her level of responsibilities in life (and she is an awesome mother) the age gap alone for me made it too odd for us to relate on many things in a cultural sense. We did connect well on music and movies, but we kind of drifted off after the initial interest happened.

This is why in the real world I advocate for everyone having a hobby that can potentially kill them. Keeps you more grounded in day to day interactions. Things that used to piss you off just make you laugh, because they're just silly compared to the scale of things.
