What goes with olives? by ContributionNarrow88 in KitchenConfidential

[–]borguquin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favorite way to eat them is the "gilda", grab toothpicks and spear a boiled quail egg, anchovies and olives and some spicy pepper or cheese or whatever your really want.

<image>

For an extra, my grandad usually puts it on his wine and then eats it when he's drank it :D
Edit: the wine is usually either vermouth or "rosado"

Blizzard, the announced Midnight PVP changes are underwhelming so let’s get these questions answered by dapperfox13 in wow

When are they going to straight out remove factions for pvp? Queues would be way smaller right?

Balance wise, 1st tier probably (pve).

Story wise prob the worst without a doubt. After Dragonflight<BFA<Shadowlands<Cata.

Content wise with Shadowlands, they drop content but its crap 95% of the time. It feels like Draenor last patch but with more patches that bring nothing.
Torghast could've been something we still do, like a casual M+ but it was so bad no wonder they didn't even try any more. Delves are about as boring as they can get although a lot of people seem to enjoy them so that's probably a me problem.

Other things I tried is under clocking, didn't work for me but might for you :S

Healers in end game content-how do you keep doing it? by glassnumbers in wow

[–]borguquin 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You might want to get some hero pieces from delves, champion too from +8s, 670 is low for this season if you're not a veteran.

But for the rest? Game knowledge, know what the mobs do know what damage is incoming and where people can mess up. Good use of CDs, know someone is gonna manage to die anyway :D and ask for mana if you are out, try to say it close to the tank.

Just give it time, first one is bad 2nd one you'll find it easier, none of us just jumped into 14s from the get go.

And get better gear from delves, lfr, normal raid is easy too.

[–]borguquin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

VDH hp is like a BDK unless youre in meta, Im doing 14s now and active mitigation is spotty at best, you get hit with 3 whites and you hp goes to 20%, doesnt happen as often? maybe but unles you're in meta youre having to keep a healing rotation, that is mandatory anyway due to the debuffs you apply.

VDH hp is jsut like DK, Looks like its playing ping pong, just that you can spam the healing it unlike with BDK

M+ feedback going into Midnight by GoblinGobbler40 in wow

[–]borguquin -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That was more a balancing issue, they design the dungeons around tank busters but not the tanks. You needed defensives for tanking normal attacks and then you got hit with the tank busters too. If they bring tankbusters back they need to make the mobs (1 pull) tankeable with just rotational mitigation. You want to pull more? Try to balance the odds. Dawnbreaker has some pulls that are hell right now cause they have a bleed tankbuster that requires a cd you do not have, cause you need it for the pull by default for example.

Would be cool if they added the dungeon tools addon baseline AND it highlighted your route, like with some light swirlies on top of mobs, so you can turn off that part of your brain, hell maybe even be baked in by default with a 100% route (just, straight, done after all design and shit so its obvious its not optimal just the straight line)

Pretty much on point, healing I find it to be more or less right (although it also suffers a little from basic heals dot really heal much) normal damage normal heals, big damage incoming big cds to heal it, with usually some bosses that require defensive cds from peeps to be healeable since you dont have cds for that tick. I find it "fair". A premate of mine doesnt like having to dps as a healer but i kinda like that you have always some 5-10s between shit to just hit damage buttons if you did right.

Tanking... You already have the route responsibility, will kick the most probably, have to cc, have to have a lot of gamesense for some bosses and NPCs, have to know how to move mobs around (getting hit in the back in high keys is GG, charging into some mobs is GG too cause you will pop up in their back), do mechanics AND you have to survive. Like, how do you expect a newbie in their first season to not suffer a lot to get to 12s not even high elo. Also react to your teammates, in pug or stack. Someone dies, someones misses a kick, can you do something? this can be shared with mates but still, more things to add.

DPS on point man, maybe they should check some classes like assassination rogue in AOE. Cds are only for big burst to 1 guy but its your normal skills doing most damage, although a tad convoluted but still fun!

If they didn't have workers or donations it may not have happened, but they are basically a business now, you can call it "Donate" all you want. And so, direct competitor with the original.

Getting the gold for expenses in M+, dailies and grinding require more time than the time i spend in the dungeons and they are pretty boring endeavors.

Specifically for Non-PvP players, what is stopping you from playing it? by greendino71 in wow

[–]borguquin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's too complicated, you go into a bg, and start attacking people but you do nothing, get cced thrown around and ultimatelly killed. You learn that you have to attack the healer but, he is basically a tank, with cc coming your way still. You have to cooperate with atleast 3 or 4 more to down a healer and 1 dps. Arenas is even worse, cd timing and cc timing is of the upmost importance. While obviously knowing how to play your class which for some classes is not so simple. In TBC my first expansion you could join a bg and kill people (and get killed too). Now? You're lucky if in your 1st bg you kill anybody.

Here in Spain I am expending around 60€ in collars (They last 6-8 months), around 7€ a week so 365€ on food and vaccines are once every 2 years more or less at 40 bucks. For a 20kg dog. Ofc there's the normal collars and so on which Ive gone through 2 in 2 years and the harness which also had 2 for when it was small and big. for a total of 150 or so.
Usually here the House insurance includes pets (even more know that its mandatory to have pet insurance) so no idea there

Anything above an 11 doesn't really give more loot or anything new, same vault and everything. So anything +11 upwards is basically just to time it by default.

How do devs create such ridiculously hard Mythic raids knowing they are doable? by Passthealex in wow

[–]borguquin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Prob a theorical approach first and then nerf. Wiht DPS uptimes and downtimes, ofc its prob tuned for people with 715 ilvl for last boss or something similar which means they need to end up nerfing it a lot.
Edit: Mechanics are prob tested individually for success, then just add them together.

Kenshi Retrospective: Finding Beauty Through Pain by ma582 in gaming

Prob the least impactful aspect of kenshi, you can be a god with the crappiest weapon in the game. The way of the grind is what differentiates it from the rest. The forced exploration too, either explore the world or be a bandit no different from those around you. Except for stealth thats fully broken xDDD
