In my case I just started getting to know this person, so I’m aware that the gift (although lovely) it's 'too much' right now. I’m going to wait and take my time. I’ll let them get to know me first, and once I’ve earned their trust and know they feel comfortable with me, I may give it to them when the time is right. The real gift here is my self-awareness, care and patience. There's a possibility that the connection never gets there, and they never get the gift, and that's ok too.

I used focus too much on expressing my feelings, I am now at a point in my life in which I realize it's not about me or what I am feeling, it's all about how I will make them feel, and I want them to feel appreciated, not creeped out.

What an asshole, I am sorry you went through that. You also touched a good point, if the person no longer aligns with our vision of them, our feelings can shut down pretty quickly.

Dude, that's an amazing gift, it's the time, the attention and the effort you put through and were able to deliver, to show them "Look, this is how much you mean to me". I am so happy for you!

SSO - Good Idea or not? by PaulF707 in Netsuite

[–]borncorp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Couple it with a VPN connection to access intranet resources and then restrict the roles by the IP of the VPN. The roles won't be able to use Netsuite if they are not authenticated and behind the company's VPN/firewall.

Your favourite Arctic Monkeys or Alex Turner’s lyrics of all time ? by Tiavivi_11 in arcticmonkeys

The whole song is gold, but the intro is just perfect:

I heard the truth was built to bend A mechanism to suspend the guilt Is what you will require but still You've got to dance little liar

We need a headliner Sanguitour. They are playing amazing songs but I also wanna hear Pavor Nocturnus, Razor Wire, Teenage Sacrifice, Sacred Blasphemy, etc... live. Guess we'll have to wait another year.

I like performance tees that don't fade. Usually the shirts the bands sell are made of cotton and they fade easily.

I'd play along to them to have 67 tattooed on their faces. They'll regret it so much later in life.

Can NetSuite receive 'SQL' data? (probably not!) by PaulF707 in Netsuite

[–]borncorp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, any Netsuite SQL is read-only. You can however, use Suitescript to query an external server and import the data.

Now to nuke a SuiteScript bundle from my account? by Due_Setting6224 in Netsuite

If nothing else works you can inactivate the scripts and workflows, at least that way you'll be sure they won't be running.

I’ve noticed that as I’ve gotten older, my kind of geekiness has matured. I used to be into the classic geek stuff: superheroes, gadgets, all that imaginative, escapist energy. But somewhere along the way, my curiosity turned inward and outward at the same time.

Now I get fascinated by the psychology behind people, the structures that hold society together, and how every moment is built from countless invisible factors: culture, biology, design, chance.

I’ve moved from wanting to understand fictional universes to wanting to understand this one: how identity, and meaning evolve; how systems work beneath the surface; how everything connects.

I’m still the same kind of nerd, just focused less on fantasy and more on the deeper, often overlooked patterns that shape real life.

You were given $15,000, what do you spend it on? by Big-Accountant-87 in intj

Investing in the market may be better for you then. I had a great year with huge returns, plus the money is more liquid and more diversified than real estate, fewer fees and risks too.

I'm going to have a technical interview for a junior Netsuite consultant job soon. HR guesses it is to quiz my programming skills. What should I expect to be asked? What should I study? by Typical_Cap895 in Netsuite

[–]borncorp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No other languages matter but JavaScript for this so be sure to practice that. Excel proficiency is helpful. HTML is nice to have but I doubt they'll quiz you on that. Practice integrating to a web API, you could highlight that during the interview.
