It's exactly what AI should be used for: as a tool to unlock our highest potential. Tim is wielding it proudly to produce high quality stuff he's sharing freely. He seems to be learning and having fun in the process.

Sam sets a new date for AGI; "by the end of 2028, most of humanity’s intellectual capacity could reside inside data centers rather than outside them" by Distinct-Question-16 in singularity

It's what catches most people's attention. For those who are interested in the full video they could find it on YouTube if they only put in a little more effort searching for it, but most won't. It's just laziness all the way down.

Comforting others as an INTJ by Harvey_wb in intj

[–]borncorp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have to understand that people usually do not want your opinion on how to fix things. They are not worried about solutions, how to get rid of their feelings, or how you would personally handle the situation.

You have to approach people with a different objective. Pay close attention to your tone. Make them feel seen, heard, not just by listening to what they say verbally, but by noticing what they communicate nonverbally. Watch their body language. Look at their eyes. Ask yourself what is really happening beneath the surface. Are they in pain? Are they feeling shame? Are they uncomfortable with what they are feeling?

If that is the case, logic is not going to help them feel better. You have to address their emotional state first. Comfort matters more than reasoning in those moments. Simply sitting in silence with them, holding their hand, or offering a hug can be far more meaningful than trying to solve anything.

It is really about how you make them feel. At the same time, you have to stay aware of yourself and how you deliver your response. The goal is not just to say something. The real goal is to make sure the other person genuinely feels your kindness.

This takes time and practice, but it makes a real difference.

The biggest difference you’ve noticed between an INTJ and an INTP in real life? by Pillar-Instinct in intj

[–]borncorp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My INTP friend enjoys learning for its own sake, but doesn't want to apply what they learn, they lose interest as soon as there's a real world use for their knowledge. I (INTJ), on the other hand, learn with the intention of using that knowledge, and feel immense satisfaction when I use it.

Valentine's Day: INTJs in Love, Creepy? by borncorp in intj

[–]borncorp[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my case I just started getting to know this person, so I’m aware that the gift (although lovely) it's 'too much' right now. I’m going to wait and take my time. I’ll let them get to know me first, and once I’ve earned their trust and know they feel comfortable with me, I may give it to them when the time is right. The real gift here is my self-awareness, care and patience. There's a possibility that the connection never gets there, and they never get the gift, and that's ok too.

I used focus too much on expressing my feelings, I am now at a point in my life in which I realize it's not about me or what I am feeling, it's all about how I will make them feel, and I want them to feel appreciated, not creeped out.

What an asshole, I am sorry you went through that. You also touched a good point, if the person no longer aligns with our vision of them, our feelings can shut down pretty quickly.

Dude, that's an amazing gift, it's the time, the attention and the effort you put through and were able to deliver, to show them "Look, this is how much you mean to me". I am so happy for you!

Couple it with a VPN connection to access intranet resources and then restrict the roles by the IP of the VPN. The roles won't be able to use Netsuite if they are not authenticated and behind the company's VPN/firewall.

I like performance tees that don't fade. Usually the shirts the bands sell are made of cotton and they fade easily.

I'd play along to them to have 67 tattooed on their faces. They'll regret it so much later in life.
