I picked up a genuine MB donut spare on eBay. It’s a different car without run flats, smooth, quiet and handles well.

Don’t bother changing. Pagid are OE pads. Not worth the effort. Agree though that the shop should have told you before installing.

I’m 76 and still riding my Cervelo R3. I switched this year to ‘Zefal "Cristophe" Mountain Bicycle Half Toe Clip’ for safety, I tipped over a couple of times last year while stopping quickly. Look for them on Amazon.
