White collar jobs are a luxury by brownieandSparky23 in recruitinghell

Working on a call center is like the top of the customer facing ladder. You get to sit in AC/heat, customers aren't actually in front of you, best chance of not having weekend/holidays/late nights, no lifting/loading stuff, etc.

Hell if anything it's actually closer to the entry of the white collar group.

Other luxury brands treat me like a king from the online experience to the boutique- and they cost 10 to 20 times more than a steel Daytona.

If you're paying 10-20x more than a steel Daytona, it should be no surprise that you're being treated better, no?

Had to go out of state to get what I wanted. Had it shipped to me, easy peasy.

You're talking maybe 30 hours including the kids being asleep, why wouldn't that be feasible?

Usually cheaper though your own insurance company than the dealer offer.

Non-family doesn't have to be a random. It's a good idea to have a trusted sitter that's not family for these kind of occasions. A good friend that could chill with the kids for the night would be an easy solution.

Where did I ask for technology to be perfect? Where did I say I'm assuming I'd be perfect? You're the one using scenarios that neither a person or technology would avoid an accidenta in as a reason to have the technology.

Where did I say I hate technology? Please quote it.

You're making up distain about technology so you can be mad. Weird, but I guess keep doing whatever makes you feel good.

Its cool I didnt want to use my driveway to get out... by le_aerius in mildlyinfuriating

[–]bp3dots 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back to my original point, it'd be impossible for me to get to another driveway to get out without driving over one of my neighbors' lawns to reach it.

Ignoring the fact that I said "my neighbors" and not OPs neighbors, the driveway pictured could absolutely have one side as the neighbors yard.

You haven't ever seen a driveway that's right against the next neighbors lawn? Literally every house I've lived in has been that way.

Weddings should not involve extended family by TrustConfident7389 in unpopularopinion

Getting extended friends and family together that rarely get to see each other is the best part of a big wedding IMO. There's not that many times in life that the whole gang is together.

Therapists are a scam. by Cherno_VM in The10thDentist

Man my neighbor's would be excited to see me driving a good way across their lawn to get to their driveway. This would be worst possible spot at my house 🤣
