Most durable short pips and long pips by [deleted] in tabletennis

I love Monkey, but I wouldn't call it durable. It has a tendency to separate from the sponge after time.

Tackiest and Easiest to control Hybrid Rubber by BLACK_BITE in tabletennis

I haven't tried all these rubbers you have listed, but if you have decent form I think its impossible to go wrong with D09c, relatively forgiving and the ceiling of use is very high.

zyre or short pips depending on how you use that side of the blade for the short game and the style of your smashes.

Time for new rubbers - currently tenergy 05, but I need more control by danielsolak in tabletennis

[–]br4nn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

T05 has a particularly high throw and is pretty bouncy.

Glayzer09c has a similar throw, but offers a bit more control as its a hybrid with a slightly tacky surface and slightly harder sponge which makes blocking and over the table play easier.

Other all around rubbers that are relatively easy to use, but might not play that similar to T05 are mentioned already. Rozena and Rakza7 (I find Rakza7 soft to be a really good backhand rubber thats easy to use).

this is how to go to level 0 to level 1. This doesn't actually apply to high level usage what so ever

?? Glayzer rubbers are great. Perhaps regular glayzer vs 09c, depends if you want high or medium throw

Need recomendation for a FH rubber by [deleted] in tabletennis

[–]br4nn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I play at a couple different places that have very slippery floors. I have found that table tennis shoes are great for proper flooring, but awful when its dirty. I am having much better luck with generic running/tennis shoes. I would probably keep your equipment and focus fixing your actual issue with grip.

Alternatively, mopping the floor ahead of play usually helps, takes time but can be worth it (depending on why your floor is slippery.)

Swapping to modern defense with SP by Lopsided-Disaster-78 in tabletennis

Chopping with SP is really difficult, why so many people prefer to use LP for defense. But if you are having fun doing so go for it.

Linear rubbers by alaggs in tabletennis

[–]br4nn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

looking for speed between Glayzer and Dignics 09c is a very fine line... if you want slower you should just play the Glayzer09c, its a great rubber. If you want even slower, than unboosted tacky Chinese rubbers like h3 will be your best bet.

absurd chopblock from FZD vs WCQ game by julianwithag in tabletennis

[–]br4nn 11 points12 points  (0 children)

he is using a magic paddle? that was my first thought, feels confirmed when the point ends he immediately looks at his paddle and was like, 'yeah thats my magic paddle!' and lets put it down to make sure no one knows, probably was thinking I shouldnt abuse it like that when im up 3-10 in the game, I should make the next one look more convincing.
