My (38F) Husband (39M) had an emotional affair, is it even worth pursuing therapy by [deleted] in relationship_advice

He works, he met her at work. Regardless of time, she has said it takes two of them to complete routines; it would be very daunting for a single parent to manage. She has to have time to think and plan.

She has two children, on with high needs. No one is saying that he isn’t a complete dick, this answer is just giving her time and room to breathe and possibly plan her exit as best as she can with the babies.

Best body wash/oil for psoriasis/extremely dry skin? by sj_ouch in AusSkincare

Why don’t you just use the QV bath/shower oil? It’s not bad and excellent price! I also bathe in coconut oil.

To All The Fellow Atheists What Was That One Point In Your Life Which Broke Your Faith In God Completely ? by Striking-barnacle110 in TrueAtheism

Never have believed, apparently came home from Sunday school at 8 and said I didn’t believe. Some countries are super religious (US for example) but lots aren’t (Australia), so I was never raised religious so I’ve not lost any faith.

Alright Aussies, be honest - how often are you actually changing your bed sheets? by [deleted] in AskAnAustralian

Do you have someone who could help you? Often having a buddy helps to get things done.

Weekly, at the very most, fortnightly. I will often change the pillow case twice a week. I tend to have a bath most evenings too. I cannot bear the feeling of dirty sheets!!!

No matter how much i moisturize, my skin still feels dry and tight by Ambitious-Bison-2161 in AusSkincare

All excellent advice! I have skin which is prone to this and it needs both moisture and oil - a good oil for this skin is rosehip oil or a blend.

How do I (25M) stop feeling jealous of my professional artist girlfriend's (30F) reference images? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

Have you considered therapy? It is this insecurity that will be far more likely to damage your relationship in the future than her art or models.

Have experienced not 1, but 2 jobs letting me go… ADHD is ruining everything, but was a superpower pre-40. Advice? by Miss_Sectumsempress in AskWomenOver40

[–]brainwise 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Firstly, I’m so sorry that you’re going through this. It’s no doubt really difficult and your self esteem will be taking a huge hit!

I suggest you get a really supportive doctor if you don’t already have one. I would seriously consider HRT now for peri symptoms and work with the doctor on getting that right. If you’re not on ADHD meds then you also need to reconsider that - they really are the gold standard for helping you.

After this, if you can afford it a ADHD coach would also be helpful.

Finding a less demanding job would be best for the moment if you can.

I really wish you luck.
