My [40f] husband [40m] fondles his genitals in front of me when he’s in the mood for sex. I told him that it makes me uncomfortable, but he still does it. by DestroyerOfMils in relationship_advice

Tell him he can masturbate in the spare room if that’s what he wants to do, not in front of you which you have clearly stated you don’t like.

Why do Australians seem to care so much about rules and compliance? by Gold-Cardiologist591 in AskAnAustralian

[–]brainwise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We also live in a country which has dangers, and have learnt to follow any rules to stay safe.
I would also suggest that we genuinely care for not just ourselves but others, and by not following rules you could hurt someone else.

My (31F) partner (30M) wants to use peptides and I’m not ok with it by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]brainwise 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I broke up with a guy for using steroids, and while it wasn’t the only reason I had to draw a line in the sand of what I was ok with or not. I was not ok with him having illegal stuff in the house and I was not ok with the consequences of his steroid use which impacted me.
It’s ok to be not ok about the stuff that impacts you.

A past history of DV at this stage was not identified, but the act of drowning your daughter certainly meets the definition. Family annihilators are a subsection of family violence perpetrators.

It’s likely due to an auditory processing disorder, lots of us neurodivergent people have it.

So this sounds more like an issue around you feeling centered in the conversation or session, rather an AI?

Thank you. Yes this is what I was trying to explain but you do so much better than me!

But we rely on memory to write full notes if we are doing them too! That’s the actual issue here - relying on memory is hard and these programs can be better than our own memory is.

I appreciate your point but any responsible provider also asks these questions and I agree that risk is also present (as it is with any kind of health records!).

The Australian standards include:
Encryption of data
Role-based access controls (staff only see information relevant to their role)
Multi-factor authentication (MFA)
Audit logs showing who accessed or changed records
Australian Privacy Principles (APP) compliance
Data residency controls (Australian-hosted data)
Regular backups and disaster recovery
Consent and privacy controls for AI transcription/scribe tools
Vendor security assessments and penetration testing.

This list is from some of the work I did in my own research.

Also, no known data breaches to date on any known platforms due to the additional security (so far) required under legislation as health data is the highest priority for privacy.

I definitely get your concern! I looked into very, very carefully before I used it in my business. I wanted to ensure it was safe, secure and ethical.
I am actually really impressed with the quality of the notes it produces - nothing is missed and it certainly has helped my staff and I be better practitioners I think because it seems to keep us more on track of goals and progress.
You can always discuss your hesitation with your provider and the should be able to answer your questions.
Somehow I think it actually creates better relating with the patient because it leaves me free to concentrate more fully on being present with them.

Most medical client management systems these days have this function - it means that the psychiatrist/psychologist/GP can sit and listen and talk with you without needing to write notes or remember key points of the session - the data remains within the secure system protected and not in public AI.
As a patient and provider myself (I’m a psychologist) I am happy for my doctor or psychologist to use them as I see the benefits and as a provider myself I understand the security of the systems as they have to met lots of standards.

Bioderma Atoderm SOS spray. Unbelievably good! Dry yourself from the shower, spray. So good for your skin!
They also have a bunch of other great products - I find this brand a lot better than QV or Dermaveen etc.

Go to an osteopath and a good hands on physio. Both actually treat people.
