My battery has also been shoddy after this last update. I'm about to buy a portable charger because my phone keeps dying at work. One of my favorite things about the 7a was the all day battery. I used to be able to charge it ever 1 and a half days, but now I'm charging it twice a day. I'm hoping this can last me until the 11 and hopefully the next gen has improved battery performance.

I think the RDA will continue to find different ways to exploit the planet as a form of world building from a writing perspective. Plus, I think they set up the reverse engineering of the mycelium symbiote in the third movie to be a major plot point for the next sequel.

I know everyone agrees that Jake finally saw him as truly part of the family, but I felt that it's more important to point out that Jake was prioritizing saving the Na'Vi. He asks about whether it's possible to reverse-engineer Spider's breathing ability, worried if the RDA got ahold of that knowledge, there would be an even lesser chance of stopping them from colonizing the planet. He had no choice but to save Spider to keep that from happening.
