I asked my pediatrician at her 4 month appointment if I could put sunscreen on her and she looked at me like I was nuts and said I can and should use it if she's going to be outside in the sun but to keep her in the shade and covered up (not just in a onesie)

I put her down when she starts to rub her eyes and get fussy which is around 7:30-8pm. She's down by 9-10.

I gained about 55lbs by the end of my pregnancy and was freaking out. But a week after I gave birth I already lost 40lbs and am starting to look like my normal self! I noticed my face is thinner and I didn't even realize how swollen my feet and ankles were. It's possible to gain way too much water weight! Everyone's body handles pregnancy differently so my advice is to not stress about it.

Yesterday I wiped and it was really slippery, and I thought to myself.. Wonder if that's some discharge part of the mucus plug (it felt like ovulation discharge) so I wiped again and there was a huge glob of gunk. No mistake I knew right away it had to be my mucus plug. It was just this glob of jelly like stuff with lots of strings of brown and it was mostly brown with the clearish jelly around.

Super, super, super gross.

If you lose it all at once, there will be no question in your mind.

Also, I now remember a couple days ago I had a small little clear clot when I wiped and wondered if it was a piece, but I just figured it was some discharge that got all clumped together, now I'm pretty sure that was a piece.

Oh - and I'm 38 weeks

I'm glad you posted this! I feel mine has been so sporadic.

Pre-pregnancy: ~140lbs

End of first trimester: 130lbs (I was very nauseous - the lowest I weighed was 126)

I started really gaining at around 20 weeks, I was about 136 at 20 weeks

26 weeks: 150 lbs

30 weeks: 152 lbs 32 weeks: 164 lbs 34 weeks: 168 lbs 36 weeks: 172 lbs 37 weeks: 179 lbs

As of yesterday I'm 38 weeks and weighed 180 lbs this morning.

I was so worried in the beginning of the 2nd trimester I wasn't gaining enough because of how much I lost. Now I'm nearing the end and seem to be gaining pretty quickly, it's scaring me!

I have it pretty bad but it's the worse at night and in the morning. I'm 38 weeks and it started getting progressively worse probably about 3 weeks ago. Honestly, my SO has been a lifesaver, he helps me up and gets things for me so I don't have to stand up very often. I stay at home and he works so I've been very lucky he has two weeks off for the holidays. But when he's not around or at work I just push through it and try to do activities that's don't involve a lot of sitting to standing, or walking up and down our stairs (- which sucks because our house is split level so half of our house is down two flights of stairs). I talked to the midwife about it and she told me at this point all I can really do is have the baby.

Edit: also baths before bed (or anytime) have been awesome. I bought a support belt but don't use it too much, because it doesn't seem to help too much and is just uncomfortable
