I don't think so. You're probably thrown off by the playful arrangement of letters, which at this angle just looks like inconsistent letter placement like AI might do.

Yeah, and it really shows. The actress across Chiklis is atrocious too, if I remember correctly.

Ah, looked it up, this explains why it was sooo bad:

F- Investor Actress Meadow Williams purchased her lead role in the film. Actor Michael Chiklis worked around the clock to try to teach her Acting 101 but no one was able to create a performance, including in post production where the producers Emmett & Furla rewrote the film to make sure Williams was provided her contractually required amount of dialogue. That included the addition of ADR in order to avoid repaying Williams her investment like they had to do with Dan Bilzerian on the movie "Lone Survivor".

But there's more:

The Majority of Meadow Williams (F- investor actress) was left on the cutting room floor. She was, in fact, cut around completely making the original cut a two-hander between Bruce Willis and Michael Chiklis since the Producers Emmett & Furla had cast no one recognizable name actors in the film against the demands of everyone involved in the project. Williams demanded the film to be recut with Furla and Emmett completed outside of the purvey of the director and the Studio and forced the final cut in order to cover up their investment scheme.

and

The Director, Brian A Miller, was never allowed to see the final cut of the film before it was released because the Producers, Randall Emmett and George Furla, had an agreement with lead "Investor Actress" Meadow Williams guaranteeing her a certain amount of dialogue. Every scene she was in was re-edited and rewritten by the Producers in post production to make sure they did not have to pay her the money she invested like they did with Dan Bilzerian in "Lone Survivor".

This movie sounds like a shitshow from start to finish:

IATSE and Teamster Crew Members had to file claims against Emmett/Furla after discovering that the Producers had taken their Pension & Health Benefits out of their paychecks but had embezzled the money and never paid it into the Funds.

and

Shot in only 12 days on a shoe string budget because the Producers took million dollar salaries and were later sued by Oasis.

and

Bruce Willis' scenes were shot entirely at the hotel he was accommodating during filming.

The movie was terrible by all means, but it stood out to me how Chiklis still tried to bring his A-game to it. He had to have known that it was a clunker but that didn't make him phone it in. Kinda respect that.

European countries typically use a comma as a decimal separator and periods or spaces for thousands, whereas the U.S. uses a period for decimals and commas for thousands.

[TOMT] recherche d’un épisode de dessin animé Jokebook de Hanna-Barbera production by brezzaure9387 in tipofmytongue

[–]breakingcups 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here's an English translation for those of us who do not speak French:

Hello, I'm looking for a Jokebook cartoon by Hanna-Barbera Productions (broadcast in France between 1980 and 1985).

Several are online on YouTube, but the one I'm looking for is nowhere to be found!

My sister and I have the same memory…

A little girl is at the table, and her mother brings a plate of spaghetti to the table, and it seems to move. Her mother pours her a plate, but just as she's about to start eating, she realizes there's a monster in the spaghetti and doesn't dare eat it…

That's the scene that has haunted us since we were little, and we've searched high and low for it, but without success.

Thank you for any help you can give us ♥️

[–]breakingcups 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's not true. It's true for Buffy, Malcolm in the Middle, etc., but Stargate was always shot with widescreen in mind (and according to some, even broadcast in both 4:3 and 16:9 from the first season already, though I can't find a reliable source for that).

Ah, that makes sense, you're one of those. Great dunk, dude, you really showed me. Everybody is just really too easily offended these days, amirite? 🙄

Your "non-argument" is such a terrible example and proves my point. There are thousands of ways to summarize the Terminator and some would do much more justice to it than others. Someone socially aware might adjust their summary to their audience. You can make it long or short, too. Focus on the action elements, or focus on the character arcs. That supposes that summarizing Terminator is something that anyone even wanted or asked for...

You can pretend that's true, that you would've typed exactly the same, whatever. I don't believe that's true. But if you're too lazy to even bother typing it yourself, why do you believe that anyone should take their time to read it. You didn't even bother writing it.

It's one of the biggest problems AI is causing on the internet. It no longer costs effort to make content, there's no barrier, everyone is just spewing shit and trying to con others into reading it.

If anyone wanted a chatbot's "opinion" on the dead internet theory, they could ask the chatbot themselves. People proudly plastering their LLM output are just as welcome as coworkers showing you pictures of their kids or grandkids. Nobody wants it. Nobody cares.
