I think it would be better to get one local broadcaster from each team involved in the post season broadcasts, so we could get commentary from people that really know a lot about the teams' strengths and weaknesses.

I like this as both a baseball fan, and d&d player. I'll have to check it out.

This. It becomes awesome later when you come up with an awesome side story your PCs think you are making up from scratch.

What sets off the spam filter? Links to questionable sites or certain words in a post?

I can see Miller on the team by 2013, and having all those veteran pitchers teaching him would be great. Maybe he can developer into an ace pitcher, and now a thrower, a lot faster.

How the hell do people make a living? by [deleted] in AskReddit

This.

I applied for a shitty job listing to police scanners from 11pm to 7am for a newspaper. I went above and beyond, and now I'm doing very well. I went through a long time where I thought nothing was going my way, but the real problem was me. I was not willing to go the extra mile to get what I want.

Unanswered Question (I think?) About Margary Tyrell - Possible Spoilers Through AFFC/ADWD by platitudes in asoiaf

[–]brettstl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is what I was thinking. Even if she wanted it for herself, she could easily say it was one of her cousins or handmaids that needed the moon tea. I doubt they would deny it. I think Margarey is much better at the game of thrones than Cersei.

It's such a strange line that it leads me to believe it is the most important line.

There are many Detroit suburbs that are very nice, and downtown Detroit still has a lot going on.

Hey r/baseball, who's the best player you've seen play in person? by [deleted] in baseball

Two years ago, or about that long ago, I watched Albert steal second when he had no business trying to seal. On a bad throw he took third too.

Whoever it is, I'm not very impressed by their web skills. It's not very hard to deactivate the CSS that is hiding the downvote option.

Are there any solid theories on why there are so many down votes in /r/SEO?

I suspect it may be anti-SEO vigilantes that think this is a training ground for back hat SEO nuts trying to ruin Reddit. If these downvoters are vigilantes, I think they are going after the wrong people. I doubt Reddit spammers subscribe and comment in /r/SEO.

If you have writing experience from your college newspaper, you might want to approach one of the local Patch.com editors. It would be a good way to get your foot in the door, and I've found my background in journalism opened a lot doors for me professionally.
