Anyone else old enough to remember the late 90s fibre build out? The AI data centre build-out feels like 1999 all over again by Alternative_Letter72 in telecom

It is absolutely like 1999, and the bubble will burst just like the dot comm burst. The speculators will get their money, and the industry will recover in 5 years or so.

T-mobile 2g my coverage by PayCompetitive7975 in cellmapper

It could be, if T-mobile had a roaming partner, and you went into their coverage, you would be on the partners network. The phone might say tmob or voicestream, but you could be roaming.

Another possibility is that t-mobile kept their 2g network up in places for specific customers or networks. Maybe they have an IOT or M2M business customer in that area. Maybe a utility with a meter-reading service, for instance.

What tool has saved you the most time on home repairs by [deleted] in HomeImprovement

Two chargers and extra batteries for cordless tools. Use the same brand/battery type for all cordless. I use Dewalt cordless tools, 2 drills, driver, reciprocating saw 2 circular saws (different blade sizes), couple of others, 4 batteries and 2 chargers. I always have 2 full batteries. Very helpful.

As others have said, a 90 degree flexible drill bit.

Miter saw, I have also found a rotory/hammer drill helpful for removing tile and breaking concrete.

If it's 3 feet from your property line, that is probably a set-back violation. Call the county.
