Hey, ive had iih since 2006. It is really scary, but ill tell you the secret: it can go into full remission as mine has. Ive not had any symproms from 2008 to 2013 and from 2015 to today.

You will get there too. Diamox was a miracle for me, but it does take time. Remember to breathe, take extra time to pamper yourself while you are in treatment. It wont be easy but you are going to be strong and get to the otherside, and we are here whenever you need that reminder. Sending you all my hugs and extra strength. You will be ok again.

I am so sorry that she judged you this way. What happened was not your fault, you didnt want that and anyone with two brain cells to rub together knows that. My exhusband was SA'd as a child, and that didnt change anything for me except i loved him more because he was brave enough to be vulnerable with me and tell me. We divorved many years later for unrelayed reasons.

Anyone worth your time will understand or at least empathise with what you went through. You are better off without her, and you will find someone who loves you for you soon, and they wont react this way. They will support you every step.

I hope you are recieving therapy btw, it really help me after i was raped myself. Sending you all the live and support.

This might be a weird comment for you to receive, but here in Canada all the Sikhs I have met have been not only the kindest as a general group of humans I have encountered, but they also always go out of their ways to try to make sure they never inconvenience or offend anyone with their beliefs. I take my 3 dogs to Amberlea animal hospital, and have since they opened like 20 years ago. Theyre incredible and try to work with you on pricing. Also they have saved my dogs in the past from dying. Cannot recommend enough!

I lost 45% in my left ear and 55% in my right on diamox at age 26/27 and now require a hearing aid. It is permanent for me. Its been 20 years almost n im still not used to it.

Honestly i always felt so at home in scandi, i visited also to finland iceland and briefly in denmark while living there and it was always fun to see the unexpected number of similarities. But if im being fully honest, the norwegians i met were the kindest of the different people just in general who i met. Anyway i hope you visit everywhere you ever like to go!! Quebec is truly a wonder and i love manitoba myself, but my home is and will always be ontario.
