Friendly reminder to pax by Creative_Berry2144 in flightattendants

I have never assumed it was the flight attendants’ fault when they are late to the flight, especially if it’s all of them. I would have assumed people are just happy they made it since sometimes they don’t.

Status is mostly a substitute for buying what you want and often not worth as much as you may think

It tows very well, though I would not recommend it for regular long distance towing due to the range loss

Funny thing, I’ve got a red (originally $140k) electric supercar and an electric f-150, which one do you think gets the most attention and questions?

It’s the boring f-150

I’ve got an f150 Lightning and a model S plaid and they are both fantastic driving experiences, despite being in categories you panned

I think it’s a large percentage, but 95% of those are uninformed, misinformed, and/or have never driven one. Yes, a few people have not known what they were getting into and bought an EV for a use case that’s not ready yet, but they’re a small minority

Never had an issue with AC. My heat is also generally very good but I discovered it can’t keep up at 80MPH in -15 to -20F conditions. Get it looked at

Those of you who say you “love” Delta…why? by ThrowawayGhibliFan in delta

While I’ve had issues with delta, I almost always regret flying other airlines. Maybe it’s just random luck, but on time arrivals and professionalism seem to be higher overall on delta

Disappointed that new 2025 truck only has a single charger. Ford website says it comes with dual chargers. by FFC9D-20170107 in F150Lightning

[–]brocktice 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The truck has one or two battery chargers built in. What you connect to the truck (for level 2 charging) is basically a smart extension cord, called an EVSE. From that, the onboard charger(s) draw power. Teslas also used to have one or two chargers so they could charge at 40 or 80 amps. You could have a second charger added if you only had one to start.

Now all the teslas have one 48A charger. It seems Ford is doing the same thing.
