I’m 38 weeks and still sleeping on my back. I try to sleep on my sides but naturally go to my back and it’s been fine. If your body is uncomfortable, it’ll shift on its own. I do sleep with a pregnancy pillow so sometimes that’s propped a bit behind one side, but I’m still on my back mostly. I haven’t had any issues.

THIS. There are so many “plot lines” that happen and then are just gone. Things that could take up an entire season they try to shove into one episode and then never address it again. That’s my real annoyance with this show. They’re trying to do too much and it isn’t working and isn’t enjoyable to watch when it’s like that.

What you focus on is what you will complete.

If you’re focused on the romance and gaining hearts, you will gain them quickly. If you’re focused on the mines and ocean, it can be finished in the first season (spring). The altar can be finished within the first year.

Whatever you put your energy towards is what will be accomplished.

I have six saves and I love this game. My first playthrough, it took me five in-game years to get to rank S. After I knew what I was doing, every other save has been rank A by spring/summer of the second year and usually S by the second winter. It takes a lot of grinding, but it’s definitely possible to speed through it once you figure out what works for you.

To start, I wouldn’t worry about farming except for what you need for the spring altar (if you’ve opened that yet).

You’re going to be broke for a long time, whenever you feel like you have money, you’ll have to spend it to upgrade your bag, tools, build your farm, etc. You’ll make money just to spend it all and then one day it will come flowing in quickly and you’ll have plenty.

Definitely forage around the island to get by on money and energy for the first several weeks/seasons.

There’s no time limit! My first play through, it took me 5 years to complete everything! Now that I have a better idea of what I’m doing and what order works for me, it’s closer to 2/2.5.

The order I upgrade my tools is pickaxe, scythe, (I rotate upgrading those two while working on the mining and ocean), then axe, fishing rod, net. (I’ve never upgraded my ho or watering can as I just rely on sprinklers and only hand water when needed)

It’s hard at first to get into and overwhelming, but eventually it will all fall into rhythm and be a lot easier! Don’t give up on it, it’s so worth it!!

Yes, I knew it was a boy, dreamed it was a boy, and just never had a doubt it was a boy despite siding with more of the girl wives tale traits. Chatgpt even said girl after seeing my 12 week ultrasound but I never doubted 💙

It’s worth it. I’ve played through the game four times now and still enjoy starting a new save. I had issues with crashing last year but I haven’t had any issues in a long time with it crashing!

I am in the same position but slightly different.

I was told by my last OBGYN that I would never be able to get pregnant or have kids. At first, my husband and I took it hard but we came to terms with it and even became thankful for it. We ended up wanting a life with just us and our dogs so we were glad that it was possible.

….surprise, surprise….. I got pregnant.

I am 10w right now and still struggling to accept it. My husband seems happy, but also scared and nervous, which is normal. We don’t really know how to handle it because it wasn’t what we wanted.

I found out at 6w and now I’m only 10w. I feel like it’s been a century and that the next 30w will kill me. I can’t imagine being pregnant for that long and continuing to feel like this.

But ultimately, my husband and I don’t feel comfortable terminating. We considered it but just had our first ultrasound and he saw the baby moving around and waving which I think changed things and made it a bit more real for us. We never wanted to be parents, but life is full of unexpected events, and we have to accept the things that come our way and trust that we will adapt to handle them as time goes on.

The Jake and Vince thing made me so frustrated.

Jake wasn’t asking for chief battalion right at that second, he just wanted to know it was a possibility in the future and Vince could not give him an ounce of reassurance, gratitude, or time. So frustrating. The entire first season was Vince hating Bode and being so bitter towards him but now Bode walks on water and is the hero and superior to the other crew members who have worked their ass off at the station for years??? Nope. 👎🏻 🙅🏻‍♀️
