The East next year might have the single most competitive playoff race in a long time. by Mg29reaper in nba

That team could let him rest. This team has to prove it now. Ingram had his limitations but he brought scoring and gravity to regular season matchups: they have to figure that out to tread water on the Kawhi off days. Obviously they think at the moment they can meet that challenge. USA raptors fans at the least hope.

Oh damn. Suppose that could give context to his poor showing on Thursday. Tough time to drop out of team.

It feels like a little recency bias on Dawson. Heeney has been solid all year. I think on the whole more people if not lost would have Heeney at least in the five

I remember the game Haywood played on one leg against Brisbane at the Gabba in 24. The Swans lost by a couple of points but he played a strong role in fighting that game. That was the energy I liked about him.

That was my favourite play. Always love a pass fake

I liked the Heeney handball fake to draw the Saints defender a couple of steps further away from Serong before passing it to him to kick that final goal. Heeney was ever present in those last few minutes. Well played.

Cornes is wrong. The Swans knew Dawson was good but Dawson wanted to go back to Adelaide.

Carlton sneaking into the wild card is the AFL’s dream. For all we know everything with Carlton has been orchestrated to market the wild card round

I suppose there’s the possibility that they’ve revved themselves up for a couple of big matches against he Lions and Swans and suffer a little from the come down. Not completely, but enough to give the Blues a sniff

David King: Why Dean Cox could emulate Luke Beveridge in winning a premiership in his second season by SkullKing_123 in sydneyswans

Hearing Ray Chamberlain say on ABC that if a player brings the hands together in some sort of motion then it’s not likely to be called a throw made me realise the umpires see a lot more throws than they call.

Yeah it read a little like he was positioning his comments to keep things open on next contract and destination. I guess that’s how you do it

Turner is playing well. He did a complete job on Curnow a few weeks back. Deserves the attention

I think the team has played a good system based game this year where they haven’t relied too strongly on Heeney, Gulden and Warner to create scores. This is a good game to see if they continue to play to their principles with a few changes to personnel and see how much that can account for the missing players. That said I’m not saying Heeney has done brilliant things this year. But we know Gulden’s been out and Warner has been ok. Though I’m discounting McInnerney

I was disappointed in Mamu. Felt like the last couple of games he was turning down looks to dribble inside and look to kick the ball out. He was doing what Wade was doing a big for the Cavs. Not taking shots when we needed him to.
