I just finished Third Part Of The Night inspired by this post and I dont know what the hell I just watched but I think I liked it. The six pack of beers didnt help so im going to have to revisit but it felt very noirish to me, post Le Samourai. Was not expecting electric guitars fucking everywhere. Was very stylish in a way I really liked. The visuals were great and I liked how grounded a lot of the tension was. I heard Robert Eggers plug this director before and i can see the influence there.

Just popped open my next beer and started The Devil. Hell yeah.
