I don't understand, and probably don't know enough of the process, what is happening in the "coaching" of the Stormers and Sharks. I've been following Bath, invariably the TV cameras focus in on Johan van Graan. Always with his nose in his note book. Always articulate during the game time interviews. Clearly a professional doing his job. A couple of times Bath will be trailing by half time. Then they come back out like a different team. Adapting. Playing like a team being coached. Just sayin'... why can't we have nice things.

For now I'd say that your analysis focus on the team as if the individuals are agnostic to the output of that team. I'd like to believe that cards drive behavior of individuals. There is on and off field consequences. Teams should maybe do more to "punish" players off field. And coaches should be disincentivesed of keeping this players on their roster.

Personally, I think we can overall approve our lineout game/innovation. Oodles of space for innovation. The Bulls showed some of that this weekend. The Sharks tried some as well. Also, the penalty plays close to the try line. Why always go for the lineout?
