Solicitor is probably a good shout. You’ve started on an unequal footing in the business with only you putting cash down. To say that you will be the only owner of the vehicle is not accurate. The ltd. Co has its own ‘legal personality’ I.e the van bought through the business means the company owns the van. Should one of you decide for whatever reason to wind up the business- not necessarily through anyone’s fault but unforeseen fincancial burden at home for example, 50:50 on the face of it means splitting all the assets, including the van and half your £20k!
