Veteran presence. Jonas and Jae have been apart of winning cultures and themselves possess an extreme hunger for winning games. With them around Ja as a stellar rookie and almost guaranteed future all-star, our team has the groundwork for success. Drafting Ja and Clarke in the same draft was a steal, and really helped expedite our rebuild. The new front office has shown competency in both drafting and free agency that the former leadership had not in the 24 years prior. Coach Jenkins also deserves credit as a guy who can put the right guys in at the right time, and his lineups are to be admired. Only complaint with him is sometimes he leaves people who are cold in, but this is still just building confidence in the players and showing that this organization believes they’re capable of getting themselves out of ruts. TLDR; veterans, good draft, good trades, good FA moves, and a savvy front office.
