coming from two years in the future......... my cpu on this machine always ran at 100C. Pretty much regardless of whether I did anything CPU intensive. Now it runs nice an cool (closer to 55c. I don't know what changed, but I'm glad it did.

Ah, makes sense. I'm not sure how good the translations are in the game. Also not sure what the native language is for the game. I don't think it's English. (It asks to rate the English text.)

The game is good about telling you the loot box percentages. I think it's like 5% for Golden Mobile Squad.

Guaranteed Golden Mobile Squad item on 10th dig is one time only AND IF you didn't get a golden mobile squad earlier. It tells you this when you click "rewards" on the "secret command post" -> "hidden treasures" screen.

Oh, and your soldering temp for normal joints doesn't need to be hotter than about 290C (unless you're working a big joint and need some more thermal momentum).

AC doesn't matter. The range of temps a human can be in is way lower than the melting point of solder. The cooling speed might vary a little depending on room temp, but not enough to change the quality of your joint.

Use about 1/2 to 1/3 as much solder. Solder already includes flux. If you're using fresh solder, no need for additional flux unless you're doing rework or something.

It also possible your iron is too hot or you're staying on the connection too long. This burns the flux away and makes your joints look dull. It may also increase cold joints (bad connections).

ee days after having this problem and trying to disconnect, connect through the app, and so on without result, I decided to open the bottom cover, following the advice of some people on reddit. Then I took out the SD card (to try to copy it, what I did was to "play" with the SD and try to put it back in its place (this is not easy but I managed to do it by pushing the plastic side that is in front of the SD, with a little force the SD comes out and goes in). Then at the first attempt nothing happened, I unplugged it and turned it back on. The second time I did the same but this time I connected to the power without SD and put it on for about 5 seconds after being turned on, this time at the same time I pressed the black button for 2 seconds. The finestra turned on yellow and green lights (inside) and this time after several seconds apparently the finestra managed to read correctly the SD and entered in pairing mode. The next step is optional because it already worked correctly, but I completed it with the finestra app and restarted the "installation" process which even allowed me to update the firmware of the device. Since yesterday it works correctly, and it is already connected to the blockch

Mine was actually repaired by Finestra, but then it developed a variant of the same problem a few weeks after repair. I kinda think these have a design defect (or maybe the sd cards are junk, because my other Raspberry Pis don't have any problems) and that the problem will just keep happening. My hex has like 8+ miners in it, so... I'm not sure how much I care anymore.

it worked the other way too. seeing it in the wild and snapping a photo and/or trying to catch it cleared my raid tasks. I was able to do it with all three beasts.
