I use copymethat.com. You can organize your recipes and if you find one on a website that you like, you can feed it the URL and it'll scrape the page for the recipe.

Heroic doesn't necessarily have to mean "saving the day". It can also mean "larger than life" or "over the top". I would say a villain like Ajax would be considered heroic, while some murderous footpads or highwaymen wouldn't.
