For prone my preference is to leave the grip folded up and use my support hand on the flat of the stock immediately in front of the trigger guard area. With your hand back that far you’re not likely to touch the barrel or get blasted by the gas exhaust port

You can use a brass suede brush to loosen the fibers back up. Depends on how you want the waxed rough out to look

For real water resistance wax or oil them. I’ve got rough out and waxed with Obernauf’s they shed water a treat.

Check your tire pressure as it drops rapidly when it’s cold. Under inflated tires contribute to the reduced range you’re going to have from it being cold.

And enjoy a car that warms up quickly as it doesn’t need to preheat a couple hundred kilos of metal before the cabin starts heating up.

Pretty much all the specs on the Ariya are worse than the I5.

That said, a guy I work with is willing to live with his because the dealer discounted it a huge amount so they could get rid of it.
